Ahhh....*cringe!* Recently some electricians were over my house to work on some outlets. Three of them had to move my entertainment center to get to one of the outlets behind it...well...to my complete embarassment...little did I know that a few certain unmentionable movies had fallen back there. The titles alone....CRINGE!

My daughter is getting sick of what I've been giving her for lunch. I'm not good at being creative as far as lunch goes, so she gets pb & j sandwiches or a grilled cheese. Sometimes I'll add lunch meat to her gc sandwich. She doesn't really like mac n cheese much either. Any ideas as to what else I can feed her?

He is not my biological son. I got taken advantage by a woman from work who took all my money and time by tricking me into to believing she was a good person to move in with. I can no longer handle being around her and I am moving. But in the short 4 mnths we lived together, I took care of her son. When he did'nt have food, I fed him. I spoiled him with love and time spent together. I love him, and she just uses him for food stamps and taxes. She hurts him and screams at him for no reason. He says he loves me and he wants me to be his mother. He dos'nt want me to move. And when I do move she says I can no longer see him ever again just to spite me. She does not care he wants to see me. He's 11. And I don't think I could stand not to see him again. Anything I could do?

I think deep down most people don't really want to fight. it is much easier to not fight. The only problem is corrupt leaders who are power hungry or greedy. But the majority of a people could overthrow a violent ruler. It is possible to install a more peaceful government.
I think the main reason people fight is over a limited amount of resources (jobs, natural resources) but all you need to solve that problem is a little less funding for war and a little more funding for science.
I don't believe the people who say world peace isn't possible. Of course it is. But at this point it is unlikely, because people are not united. If people united, they could move mountains and make strides towards peace.
We don't need to all be the same. We don't even need to agree necessarily. We just need to tolerate one another's differences. We could make it work.
Most people are not cold blooded killers. Whatever happened to the majority having a say about how they want to live?

The gospel of Luke ch. 3 lists the complete geneology of Jesus Christ, tracing his lineage ultimately to the first person Adam. the number of generations listed is 75 in all. If we substititute 33.33 years for a generation, and understanding Christ lived approximately 2000 years ago, we arrive at 4500 years to account for all of human history. This figure is preposterously low, partially because it requires us to ignore data that dates art discovered in caves, art that illustrates modern humans, in the range of 60000 years ago. The 4500 year figure is also hardly enough time to account for the differences in the human gene pool. Considering that different races of people existed in biblical times, we can expect an entire new race of people to appear every 1000-1500 years; a phenomenon that obviously doesn't happen. My question is what does this information imply for the literalist view that contends the Hebrew Bible reveals the beginning and end of all human history?

i know i shouldn't be desperate and act like i'm pleading to find a boyfriend and i should just Wait for the Right One to Come Along. but i have not had such luck lately. or ever. i don't know if i'm gorgeous or anything like guys have told me.. because i've lost a lot of trust and my confidence lately from guys. I've just got hooked on Hugh Laurie's new medical drama, and since I haven't been following earlier seasons, I wonder what is the reason why Dr House is such an obnoxious jerk (Kind of like a medical doctor Jack Sparrow, rude, but lovable). Seems like a existence so sublime that it cannot even be described awaits you.

Yet you have to wake up every day, drag your butt to work, deal with headache after headache that life gives ya.

Sure, life is fun some times, even wonderful for some periods, but it cannot POSSIBLY compare to 24/7 paradise.

With this in mind, of what awaits you, how awful must your daily life be to wake up and think, gee i hope i die today.
