My daughter is getting sick of what I've been giving her for lunch. I'm not good at being creative as far as lunch goes, so she gets pb & j sandwiches or a grilled cheese. Sometimes I'll add lunch meat to her gc sandwich. She doesn't really like mac n cheese much either. Any ideas as to what else I can feed her?

Annies Homegrown which is an organic company makes, yummy Spaghettios.
Cheeseburgers cut into little pieces
Chicken nuggest in little pieces
fruit
veggies
crackers
sliced lunchmeat
anything you eat, cut up into small pieces
potatoes
french fries
hot dogs
pizza, with a soft crust
My son at that age usually ate what we ate unless it was spicy or crispy like potatoe chips. Small pieces of most any thing are okay. You want to serve a variety of textures. Try giving fruit or veggies first to ensure they are eating them and then a more "fun" item. As whe gets older increase the size of the pieces. Of course if she has back teeth already, small pieces will be fine. My son didn't get his back teeth until 18 months or so. My son had minimal amounts of anykind of baby food. Little cups of fruit. raisins.

My son loves roll-ups (that's what we call them) I take a small flour tortilla shell and roll it up with turkey or ham and cheese inside. It's new twist on a regular sandwich. Actually you can roll her pb&j or grill it with cheese and make a quesadilla. He also likes chiken noodle soup. I'm not to good with the lunch thing since he goes to daycare during the week and he eats what we eat for dinner. Here are a few links though

it may take babies up until eventually 18 months to start up to feed themselves with silverware. they don't get truly reliable at it until eventually they are between the a lengthy time period of three and four. My son began to feed himself at round 15 or 16 months. My daughter is 11 months and he or she is attempting already. each baby is diverse.

Ick. Serously ick. That's just not food, once in a while treats, but for every day?

Some veggies? What would you eat for lunch?

Stirfry cooks up fast and is full of veggies. Fish also cooks fast. Homemade vegetable soup with a side salad.

The kids I work with (a daycare center) really seem to like the Gerber graduates stuff. I know that can get kind of expensive, but things like pasta, ravioli, soup, etc really seem to work. In addition, we encourage eating vegetables, so cooked carrots, and green beans seem to be the most popular.

at anygrocery store in the frozen food freezers there are bags of kids chicken nuggets or tenders. kinda like the ones from burger king only healthier and they are even shaped in fun ways like dinosaurs. also for deserts there are frozen fruit cups. these are by the actual assorted fruit cups. they contain real fruit so they are healthy and you just freeze them and the become like sorbets. really good!
