proactive???

does proactive work? or does it just make acne worse?

Well at first it worked for me then it just stayed the same.
It didnt really help me.
But from everyone else's
point of view.
Its great.
I just went to the doc.
After that though.
And my face has cleared up right away.
I suggest just to go to your doc.
They have the most helpful stuff.
But i mean if you have like 1 zit
you want gone
then proactive will be great. lol. [=

I love Proactive! It's the only product that actually works on my skin. I have a normal-to-oily skin type, and whenever I used products like Noxema, it made my acne worse. Neutrogena works too, but I can't use it too much because it dries out my skin.

I definitely recommend Proactive because of the toner, cleaner, and moisturizer it comes with. All of those used together made my skin almost resistant to acne. If ur a make-up person, you will save a lot on foundation since you won't need it any more.

It's main ingredient is benzoyle peroxide exactly like Clearasil. This ingredient purifies the pore to clear up the acne, but it does dry and has recently been found to break down collagen causing premature wrinkles.

If you are looking for an acne solution, try Murad. The clients I have recommended it to, love it & are very happy. Also getting regular facials will help clear up your skin. You can get a good one at a beauty school for about $10. Ask them about high frequency/ arcing treatments that will kill the bacteria in the pores to clear also.

I tried proactive and it made it worst, but it has worked for some people. You can try it, and if it does not work, you can return it.

Try this for acne:

Accutane-an antibiotic and Ziana- a new acne gel. See your dermotologist. Also wash face with cool or cold water, never hot. And never use scrubs or toners, they aggravate acne. Use a mild cleanser and mositurizer like Cetaphil.

For some people the solution might make the acne worse, then make it better, make it better right away, or just make it worse. for my cousin, it got worse due to the fact that he did not follow a strict diet that came with Proactive. I guess you are just going to have to experiment yourself because we are all diffrent. good luck.

I can't say that it makes the acne worse but if you have a sensitive skin like mine - it burned and dried the skin out to a point where I was peeling and flaking.

No wonder they give a 30 day money back guarantee - if they didn't they would be out of business already.

I tried Proactiv and hated it. It didn't work for me. I'm using Acne Free now, and it's working great! It's a lot cheaper too - only $19.00 at Wal-Mart. I've been using it for three days now and already my skin has improved a lot!!! I definitely recommend it.

I know some people who it worked for but then family genes came in play and proactive stopped being enough for them.
I use it, it works great for me! I started feeling and seeing results immediately and my friends commented that my skin was looking more clear and even!

OMG Proactive!!! Is the best thing I have ever brought!! when my mum rang up they said it take likes 4-6 weeks to work for me you have to use it every day and night for me it worked from a month to 2 months its really good I would not lie it is very good but make sure you use it ever day and follow the steps.

Try acnee free they say it works better than proactive but i havent use proative but some pepole say it works some say it doesnt work so im not sure. acneefree works u can buy it at wal mart for 19 dollars and it comes with 4 different steps try it!!!!!!!!!!o and target and other places like that.
