i know i shouldn't be desperate and act like i'm pleading to find a boyfriend and i should just Wait for the Right One to Come Along. but i have not had such luck lately. or ever. i don't know if i'm gorgeous or anything like guys have told me.. because i've lost a lot of trust and my confidence lately from guys. (but one of my last guys "dumped" me so to speak, because i was "too hot and smart" for him.. which i never made myself to be!) i've never Had an official Boyfriend though.. i know i'd be a really caring and great gf if they would ever give me the chance. i'm 17. like 5' 7" have dirty blonde medium length hair... average weight, i guess.. not overweight at all. i'm shy at first until you get to know me. i can talk to any guy until i really start to like them then my mind goes blank. but once i get comfortable and you get to know me i open up and can by my fun talking self. i'm extremely caring and thoughtful and always thinking of others first... (but it's bit me in the butt)

I mean as a guy who is 17 you sound pretty cool, a little too worried about finding someone. I was in a relationship for two and a half years and have been out of it for a year and a half and sure it sucks, but you kind of know it when you meet someone worth your while. you can't be selfish, but you can't also just wait til some guy who will date you comes along, you need to find a guy YOU want to date, right? and when a guy tells a girl shes hot it doesn't really mean **** except they want to get in your pants.. if you meet a guy who thinks you are beautiful, or tells you he is in love with your personality I think you've found a winner.

I would say that you could definitely get a boyfriend and it's just that the right one hasn't come along yet. Well, i also don't know what you look like a picture would help. I could tell you if your hot or not .. but without knowing you in person it's hard to say.

You sound very nice. this is not the way to find someone though. Saying you are 17 and looking for a guy on the internet is like painting a target on yourself for crude comments.
Enjoy who you are and don't worry about what you think other people are looking for. Men like confidence in women just as much as women like confidence in me. Take your time and wait for a nice guy who will treat you well.

this is probably the last thing you want to hear but you are only 17, the right guy will come your way you need to excersise patience. remember that girls mature faster than boys do. Keep being you and keep yourself together. and whatever you do don't settle for the first one that shows interest in you
