I think that you should be proud of your uncle for wanting to go to Iraq and fight the bad evil guys for his country and for you. He is going there to fight for your freedom. Of course you will miss him. But, you can also send him email, pictures, audio recordings of the family to him.

Just be proud that you have an uncle like him who is willing to fight the enemy. He should be your Hero!

You have a good reason to be depressed. But you cant stay that way. I'm sure your uncle wants you to be happy and not sad all the time. Try keeping busy with activities. Write to him often Im sure he will appreciate the mail. Make him up packages you can send to him, I'm sure there are things he could use that he cant get there. Ask him what he needs. Then send some extra for his buddies over there too.
There is plenty you can do to make his time over there better with the packages and mail.
Study hard too and play hard with things you love to do. The time will go faster.

I can tell you a joke to cheer you up.

A blonde got a dent in her car, and took it to the repair shop. The repairman noticed she was blonde and decided to have some fun. He told her that all she had to do was take it home and blow in the tailpipe untill the dent popped itself right out, so she did. About 15 minutes later, the blonde's blonde friend asked her what she was doing.
"I'm trying to pop the dent out, but it's not working"
"Duh. You have to roll the windows up first!"

I know it wasn't what you were looking for, butI hope it helped anyway=)

I'm sorry to hear that. I think alot of people have given you some good advice. I agree that you should make up packages and send them to him. Take pictures of yourself and your family and friends and send him those as well so he can see how your growing! You are going to miss him and that's O.K. keep your chin up and make sure you stay busy work hard at school and keep your grades up.

It is difficult when someone you love goes away.
especially to fight for their country.
Keep in mind that he has the best traing he can possibly have
and he is not alone.
Fighting for your country is an honorable thing.
you should be very proud of him and give him
your support
