What do girls see in guys when they see/meet them?

Like, what is attractive, Physically? in the personality?

And what do you girls see most prominently when you meet a guy? What influences you most about how you feel toward him?

---what i hate---

fist appearance is a biggy for me, if they're staring at my chest the entire time or making rude remarks, im disgusted and im most likely not going to talk to them again. another thing that really really and i mean like reallllly P.O me is if they talk about past girlfriends or how much of a great kisser they are or yadda yadda (things that id rather not say) blah blah blah.

---what i dont like about the looks---

-if his hair looks like it hasn't been washed in a month, I'm going to try and get away as quick as i can

- if he has that tucked-in-shirt-with-the-pocket-protector look im probably gonna get a little weirded out

- i hate reeeeely skinny guys

- i really hate when guys wear thier pants like at thier knees, its appaling

- i dont like when they wear really baggy clothes

i like a guy that's respectful, you know ..hold the door open for you when I'm carrying books (or even if I'm not)... offer to carry stuff for you...look into your eyes when he's talking etc. i like guys that will stick up for me -like any gentlemen should- and yes.... looks kinda do matter to me...

+ i like guys that have a bit of muscle, not like body builder or anything

+ clean Shaved

+ i speak for myself when i say this but i like eyeliner and other makeup on guys (so what? ...shoot me!)

+ i like when guys wear clothes that FIT no baggy clothes, (but i do like pegged jeans)

Wow that's a tough question. I think that in most cases its a combination of physical attributes and other factors such as his personality, etc. Also maybe it has to do with the girl too and what she finds attrattivie and wants in a guy. Plus I think that there are more eligible girls out there than men so a girl has to compete with other girls for the best men. Its a sad fact of modern life that a lot of boys wind up in jail or dying young so males are in really short supply. Of course you can always find a lot of unmarried homeless men or unmarried men who hang out and have no job prospects. They still can produce sperm and might have some use to a female who wants a child.

In my own family I have all four grandparents still living. My mom's parents were Communists during the 1960's and met during peace demonstrations against the Vietnam War. They also believed in free love so they didn't wait until marriage but eventually tied the knot. What's strange about them is that a few times I almost went "all the way" with my boyfriend and they were extremely upset. They used to come over and watch me and when my boyfriend was over and my little brother and they were like the KGB. So much for free love.

My other grandparents met on a blind date. My grandfather just returned from the Vietnam War and was in heavy combat. Even though he was "damaged goods" my grandmother fell in love with him and they have been in love ever since. They waited until marriage to do it.

It's kind of strange to see the four grandparents all in the same room. Even though they try to be civil around the children (my brother and me) it's kind of funny. It's like birds of prey circling a kill to see their interaction. It was love at first sight for my mom and dad. Oh well I guess the upshot of all that is that its physical attraction and non physical factors such as common interests and what you see in the opposite sex.

I always notice the eyes first. I'm generally attracted to the physical appearance just like any other girl. But if the guy can make me laugh and doesn't look that great. I'd be quite happy with him.

I'm usually impressed by the way a guy carries himself. I like a guy who's confident but doesn't swagger. Guys who are tall and in good shape have an advantage in that department, but only if they aren't gawky or menacing, so it's not automatic that you're out of the running just because you aren't 6' tall. I guess I would describe it as having "a presence".

Next, I love the eyes. If they're alive, sparkly, and looking directly into mine in a friendly, confident way, I like that. I guess a nice smile goes along with it.

I like a firm handshake and good grooming too.

We all see physical first, but I value personality more. Physical-wise, it's always nice to see a guy who smiles alot. Personality-wise, I like a guy who's polite and considerate, and has a good sense of humor. Dependabilty is also very attractive.

each girl has a different choice as do each boy. but many girls like successful person with nice personality and good nature, also they are more attracted if they think the guy will be serious in relationship. physical looks are not as important as commitment in relationship and good nature.

It's different for each person.
Physically I notice a guys eyes and smile first (the face in general) and then the rest of the body.
I like a guy who is outgoing, funny, and sweet. If a guy shows these things right away I know he's got potential.

Well, of course the guy that catches my eye before I meet him already has half my attention but I notice the way we get along. If I'm just meeting the guy and he makes me feel comfortable around him, makes me feel like he's listening to what I'm saying, actually tells me relevant things about his life and doesn't lie...if he doesn't think he's a hard ***

I see eyes that laugh and a mouth that goes with it. Men that try to hide their laughter or do not laugh at all are out of there!
I want real laughter!!
Then I will look at the way they hold themselves. No matter the height they must stand tall. They can be 2'1' and stand 8'9".
At 5'11" height does not matter to me if the man presents himself as an upstanding person.
Too much Cologne is a turnoff! Just make sure your breath is good and you do not smell of sweat.
