i think you shoeld talk to your friend if he still has felings for that girl and tell him whats the big deal it was just a date nothing happend well if nothing happend tell him shes not even your gurl shes just a friend ok

As for your question, what you did is an unwritten LAW of manhood. You never date your friend's ex unless given specific permission or if you WANT to kill your relationship with your friend. He may still have feelings for her. Or he may hate her. Either way, now that you and her are together, your friend will have to spend more time with her then he probably wants to.
What you should do is confront your friend and explain your reasons for doing what you did. Ask him how he feels and what you can do to calm things down. If he is a real friend, and the relationship between you and her has a real chance, he should be able to pull himself together and wish you the best of luck. You broke the rule! You never date someone's ex, at least not until you get the "ok" from them! Best thing to do is talk to him and apologize for not coming to him to ask him if he'd be okay with it. Just let him know you really like her and enjoy spending time with her. Hopefully he will understand and wish you two the best, but just give him some time.

That's a no no! It's an unwritten law; you should never date your friend's ex no matter how hot she is. If she has the audacity to date you after dating him, chances are, she's going to be doing that to you pretty soon. Then you'll know how it feels. There are plenty of other girls out there.
