How fluent can a person expect to be if they devote the summer to learning Spanish in the countries that speak it? I've applied for an internship in Spain and am looking for a total immersion language school in another spanish speaking country. My summer break extends from the end of May to the end of September and I have had 2 years previous language training in Spanish, but it's weak at best as I don't know how many people are going to quiz me on the numbers up to 100 or the random parts of the body.

y am i such a babbling fool!!! today in tutions i purposely turned down a ride infront of a guy i like so dat he would walk me home! and guess wat! my driver turns up so i hop into my car and offer him a ride to his place... while goin ther i was babbling n acting like a complete idiot! and a few weeks ago my friends gave me this huuge lecture dat i dont act normal wen i am infront of guys.....not evn the 1 i dont like! wat do i doooo??? i had such a good chance to score points with him n i BLEW IT! n everytime he looks at me he just smiles at wateva i say so he dosent insult me! i was speaking soo fast n asking stupid Q's and stammering!
HELP!!! me sooooo embarrased!!!

I had another Q/A posted related to this one i am having problems urinating well i feel as if i have a full bladdder but when i go theres nothing and its constanlly. a friend of mine said i might be preg i have the urge to urinate like im preg but nothing is there. is it true after you have one child your muscles are not as tight and that this may be a sign of preganacy?

I am sitting at my fiance's computer, and I just realised that he has recently created a new basic Myspace profile claiming to be "single" and there for "dating." I was not snooping around; his computer automatically fills in password stuff, and I just happened to notice this new one. What should I do? Honestly my first instinct is to pack and walk.

OK, before anyone answers, this is a problem with switching on my computer speakers. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with the sound card.

Really frustrated here!!

I've just moved and I've hooked up my computer. Everything is working fine, except my speakers won't turn on.

The one speaker with the switch has cord correctly running from the back of the speaker down to the correseponding jack on the hard drive.

The other speaker has a cord that is plugged into the back of the speaker with the switch. Still, my speakers do not switch on.

Ok I'm 14 weeks prego and I went to doc Thursday and they couldnt find my baby's heartbeat on the doppler so they sent me to get an ultrasound just to make sure everything was ok, luckily the baby is fine, but once I started looking at the pics they gave me I noticed at the top of the pic is says something about 16.7 cm...heres a link to the pic.....

Often, if i press down, it goes onto select, and i have to press it numerous times for it to go left, up, right or down. I really want to avoid taking it to a repair centre, as it's most likely i'll end up paying quite a bit. Any suggestions much appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Whenever I'm in public there are always teenagers and younger women, in general, staring at me and smiling. However, I'm in my mid 20's and I get the feeling that they think I'm still a teenager. My gf admitted that I still have a babyface and still look fresh out of high school.

I mean of course... it's illegal dating a high school student at someone younger than your age (especially mid-20's) so I definitely do not want to send the wrong message.

Any advice on looking a bit more mature? older?

I've heard it put 3 different ways. One, simply yes. Two, simply no. And three, that its okay to do it, but it becomes a sin if it starts interfering with your everday life and duties. I think that last one is most sensable, but I'm still not sure. Care to help?
