The legal age for consuming alcohol in Dubai is 21 years. Many bar/clubs are for over 25 years only. But I know many people being younger then 21 years and they have no problems ordering a drink in a bar/club connected to a hotel.
It's something different if you want to buy spirits in the store. Therefore a license is needed and you have to show proof of your age beside other documents required.

The legal drinking age is 21. If you are with someone older than;;;;lets say 25...then there will be no questions asked, they bring the drinks; around $4.00-$6.00 a drink to the table and do not keep watch of who drinks it.
Buying alcohol at a store is a different story all together...you must show a valid ID...
Dubai is a very modern Country...you should very much enjoy their skyline at night...its the thing to see...

but if speaking of legal age... it starts from 21.
The drinks start from various prices... depending on the place
but a beer @ Hard Rock Cafe starts from
AED 35.00 (US$ 9.50).
