I'm leaving for a hockey tourny April 13th, and chances are at the hotel we'll be swimming. I have a 2 piece, and not only am i going to be with an all guys team, but i want to feel confident enough to go with out a shirt and shorts over top of it.

Whats the best way to drop15-20 lbs before then. I weigh 145, I lost 8 lbs and now no matter what I do the scale wont budge.

And the 8 lbs i lost, you see no difference in the way i look. I play hockey 6 times a week, and try to get to the gym when I can (i recently twisted my ankle, so I haven't been too much gymming...and i probably should have been doing the hockey with it)

So whats the best and quickest way to help me lose the weight and lose some inches?

Someone asked a question "Jehovahs Witnesses,Where does the Bible teach that Christians met in a place called a 'Kingdom Hall'?" He only wanted a scripture or just an admission that it wasn't in the bible. What a sly way to try to make someone look bad. When I explained it to him, he did not accept my answer and repeated to me the only two possible answers he wanted to hear, one of which he knew to be incorrect. So, in the spirit of what he considers a fair question and in line with his thinking, here are my questions; Where in the bible does it say Christ's followers should be called Baptists or Methodists or Catholics? Where in the bible does it say you can drink Coke, Sprite, or Dr. Pepper? Where in the bible does it say you can drive an automobile? Give me chapter and verse or just say "It isn't in the bible, Anomaly."

I was at my local watering hole last week and I started talking to a woman that I've seen before. We started talking and she ask me if wanted to go to another hole down the highway. I said I would fallow her in my own vehicle. So when we got there we had a couple drinks and danced a few times and then said good night and went our seperate ways for the night. So I went back to same watering hole tonight and started talking again I figured I would ask for her phone number to see where it would go . She said let me get a pen and then she agnored me the rest of the night. So my question is what wrong with all you woman.

I am getting a Bassett hound puppy and was wondering what they are like. What kind of temperment do they have, do they shed, smell bad...........all that sort of stuff? I have a 3 yr old boxer and a 9 month old wolf/malamute mix, will the Basset get along with them?

In movies in a maximum security prison, there is constant violence, murders on a regular basis, drugs and everything you can imagine smuggled in, new guys raped constantly, and the thing always seems to be that the prison guards are all corrupt or they just don't care at all, guys get raped, brutally beaten and ie. they just put the guy in solitary for a few days then put them back together to do it all over again. That's what gets me, I can imagine all the bad stuff, but those in charge working with prisoners and taking such superficial measures to stop problems etc.

For anyone who might have knowledge of this kind of thing, is it really like that or is it just exagerated in the movies?

went to a friends house. My parents couldnt pick me up because a family member took our car. So me and my friend took the bus home. Now im at my house and we need to get back to her house or her parents will kill her because she's not even supposed to be away from home. Why do people say Islam is degrading to women, when the Prophet Muhammed himself said the following (true authentic quotes):

“Admonish your wives with kindness.”

“A Muslim must not hate his wife; and if he be displeased with one bad quality in her, then let him be pleased with another that is good.”

“Do you beat your own wife as you would a slave? That must you not do.”

“God enjoins you to treat women well, for they are your mothers, daughters, aunts.”


So please dont say Islam is degrading. A few might be, but every culture has its people who don't follow the rules

I made a list of Christian websites that deal with "evidences" for Christianity (Apologetics). I had all the reccommended and best of the best ones listed (Which I study intensely)...

and someone on a religious forum gave me a list of all the best Atheist websites and challenged me to compare and contrast.

I thought (of course) that it would be no problem - I mean, the Bible is true, right?

That's what I thought, too!

I spent countless hours, digging through the information and checking resources and credibility of the sources, etc...

The Atheists had an answer for every point! They were familiar with all the apologists and all the defenses! Now, it's one thing to disprove Christian claims, but when it is done so thoroughly that I had to re-evaluate the soundness of my very very precious faith, I am left with no rationale to believe.

My friends, God Himself cannot blame me for using my brain! What is one supposed to do? Stay the course?

I tell you it is impossible!

Im 28 weeks along and I feel like i am having contractions already. Im already a high rish because of the preterm birth of my first child. Its hard to tell if they are actually contracttions. But it gets really tight in the lower stomache like cramps.
