went to a friends house. My parents couldnt pick me up because a family member took our car. So me and my friend took the bus home. Now im at my house and we need to get back to her house or her parents will kill her because she's not even supposed to be away from home. I cant really go back with her because my mom wont let me get out of the house. And i need to get my friend back to her house. What Do I Do? Please Help!!!!!!!!! Her parents cant pick her up either and we cant get out of the house because my mom would kill me!

This is one of those slightly tough problems of life. At the moment everyone was safe - thank God and that is what is really important! Confused it sounds like you are ( like all of us ) learning about boundaries. Hopefully your parents can keep things in perspective but life is tough but what can be even more tough is lack of resources that can make life more manageable and money isn't always the main resource. I took some college courses on child development and the authoritative not authoritarian style was the best where- parents are consistently firm yet equally fair with the expectations of their children with the parents paying specific attention to the age , characteristics and limitations because of their age-of that child. Of major importance is for the parents to show the child throughout their whole life that the parent will use their energies to follow through with the fair and consistent boundaries placed. That's how trust and respect can blossom! Have fun kid , remember Jesus will help you more than anyone can. Rest in his almighty power and provision- truly the one and only that all of us can count on!!!!
