1. can a pregnancy test detect the hcg hormone even if you have had an early miscarriage, like 3 days before taking the test?

2. how do you know you have had an early miscarriage? I had a bit of bleeding right after having sex around the time my period would come. it completely ceased (i actually thought it was my period) I had been having all the symptoms from a coming period (bloating, cramps, sore breasts) but those have stoped now in the 32th day of my cycle.
I took a test yesterday and came out positive, but because of the blood, i asked question #1.

My 7 year old FIV+ cat has for unknown reasons been losing weight recently. We are investigating reasons with the vet, but I thought I'd ask here for suggestions on how to stimulate his appetite. Of course, we're increasing the wet food he likes.

Otherwise he seems fine -- active, playful, purrs often -- so it's taken us a while to realize that his appetite decreased :-(.

BTW, an ultrasound showed lumpy mishaped kidneys, but he doesn't exhibit signs of kidney disease (urine concentrates well), cancer, FIP, or infection, so the vet is stumped. Bloodwork looks normal. So, any input on that would be helpful as well. He's part of our family and we hope he lives a long life!

I don't know but everytime that I'm doing something and my baby Garry starts fussing I'll turn on Hillbilly Deluxe by Brooks and Dunn he'll stop fussing!!!! Do you find that wierd? I've never heard of that. Anybody have a baby like this?

I know he don't stop fussing just because. I've turned on that song a million times and even on repeat and it works!

I have a stainless steel digital watch with no manuafactuer name and no manual. It just says 20281KNX and C311-06 on the back. I want to set the watch. It has 4 buttons. Upper left btn = Light, Lower left btn = Mode, Upper right btn = Start and Lower right = Reset. I have tried to set this thing but can't figure it out. Right now the alarm goes off at some weird time at night and I can't find where to set or turn that off. Also, the hourly alarm is set to on and the current time is slightly off. Thanks.

I lost my virginity on 1/19 (a condom was used). The last time I had my cycle was on 1/12.
I was fearful of pregnancy early on and when my period never came in February, I took a home pregnancy test (it was negative).
After a couple more weeks of no show, I decided to go to the doctor.
They took another test (negative).
My thyroid was also tested, but the tests showed it was okay.
I was regular with my cycle before and I have no eating/weight issues. I have been under some stress, but I would not say it is anything I can't handle.
The doctor is also baffled as to why it hasn't come. He thinks it should soon. If it does not by the end of this month, I have to see him again and he will schedule an ultra-sound.
It still is a while just to wait, and I wanted to get others' thoughts on what it may be.
Other symptoms I've been experiencing: Fatigue, excessive gas, nausea, cramps (similar to my menstruation cramps).

Hi all, I saw this in a closed question, but i didn't know if it was resolved. My preparer put a different bank of america routing number than the one I gave them on my return for e-file. I called Bank of America and they sid it should get rejected. the "Wheres my refund" website just says it was deposited on march 2nd. I called today and the girl told me to fill out a form 3911 but that seems to be for "lost" payment which this isn't necessarily. It seems most websites say to just wait and i'll get a paper check but will the "Where's my refund" page change? How long should I expect? Thanks in advance I just don't want to do anything wrong here and screw up this more.

She is havign trouble finding somewhere to buy her maids' dresses without going over budget-they have 4 kids but since were married in a court house the first time around woudl liek to make this really nice. 6 months ago I went through a bad phase. I was jealous of my lil bro, was mean to him, also joined some bad friends, did some wrong stuff like drinking and being disrespectful. My parents decided to punish me, thgough I was really sorry and apologized to them and to my bro. I was grounded for a month and this broke my spirit, not because of the punishment that wasn't so harsh but because I lost all trust I had in my parents love. They didn't forgive me though I was really sorry. My mom was kinda cold, angry and it took a while for her to come around and trust me again. Something broke inside me, I learned I'm not loved, now I'm scared, upset, even afraid of my parents, especially my mom. I'm a good girl who messed up, why couldnt my parents forgive me? Why did they have to let me so down and depressed? Ima a good student, won't get in trouble again, everyone says I'm a good girl, but my life is destroyed, I'm emotionally broken, can't even look at my parents without getting disturbed

why is it impossible to instill this knowledge to the younger generation. dont get me wrong i was no angel when i was a teenager,far from it. but as ive got older ,well you learn about life dont you.im 42 now and probably am concidered an old fart by the younger generation.but does anyone else feel frustrated by the apathy and lack of respect for the older generation by todays youth.i mean most of the local kids around my area dont even offer up there seat on a bus to a pensioner.little butt wipes dont seem to realise these people fought in a war to make there lifes so rosy. perhaps someone should tell them we all turn in to our mums and dads. what do you think about them[yes i know not all] but when i see how so many act in public i think back to my youth and think my god if me and my mates of when i was there age i would of kicked there *** big time.by the way the reason i am asking this is ive just come back from the curry house where i witnessed 5 young men beating 1
