Yes congress will be deafeted in UP also by Mulayamsing Yadav.
Actually congress has no proper leaders and network in UP.

Hi,
I feel these are the reasons why Congress failed:
1. No development in Punjab -
Punjab is a mainland for farmers, the congress did not do anything for the farmers - giving subsidy for crops, loans with no or less interest etc;
Neither did they bring any manufacturing or IT sector jobs -- How many IT companies are there in Punjab? How many industries are there in Punjab ?
So, No development as a result - unemployment, poverty etc;
This is ONE reason.
2. Unable to control the price rice of items and products that farmers use.
For example: A zen car costs around 4 lakhs, 4 years ago. What is the cost today? Same 4 lakhs.
On the other hand,
A tractor costs around 1.5 lakhs, 4 years ago. What is the cost today? It is again 4 lakhs.
See the difference? How can a poor farmer survive? How can he buy a tractor to plough the field?
Remember, it is farmers, poor people who come to vote !!!
No person who is traveling in BENZ or any wealthy businessmen will come and stand in hot sun to vote --
whatever the Punjab congress govt did was for the welfare of those who will NOT come to vote.
That is why they lost!

Very simple, the Congress candidates were polled lesser number of votes than their opponents! Also the politicians, irrespective of the colour of their flags, become more or less atocratic once elected to power. The majority of people in Punjab were fed up with the way Congress Chief Minister was behaving and taught him a lesson.

according to congress,the high prices of common day to day house items and governments failure to aware people caused their defeat at Punjab,but on the other side the winning coalition alkali-bjp says Punjab was devastated by on all grounds by five year congress rule,that's why people choose them,any way we can hope best for Punjab and its people.
