My corgi was spayed a week ago, and she's developing an infection at the site. The vet put her on antibiotics and gave her one of those big collars to wear so she'd stop licking at it. But when she wears the collar she literally will not move. She will just stand in the same place for hours, not even moving for food. Needless to say, I want to keep the collar off her as much as possible. So is there anything else I can do to help in her recovery? I'm hoping there's something topical I can treat her wound with daily to help speed up the healing process.

I am an actor researching a role as a veterinarian.

Can someone please tell me how horse tranquilizers are administered?
Shot or pill?

If as a pill, how many mgs? What size is the pill? What color?
How big is it? (Is there any common, everyday food or candy that could look like it?)

How is it packaged? In a bottle (brown?) with other pills? Or is it blister sealed like common cold medicines?

Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Pls, i have a girlfriend that i love so much, initially when we started our relationship it was fun filling, our sexual life was something to write home about,she seems to want me every now and then, it got to a stage we cant do without each other,i must tell you,we were very much in love,but we have one problem, she takes in every now and then we make love,which has resulted to abortion thrice, and if i should insist on making use of the condom she will bluntly refuse it, telling me she does not like the usage of it, so ever since then, it has been one abortion and there about,so just recently i found out that she no longer enjoys making love to me.

I pay $550 a week in child support. I'm divorced and there is nothing in the agreement that says I have to pay half of day care or for birthday parties, etc.. My fiance and I have been together for about a year and a half. We have a baby together and now his mom has started telling me she loves me when I'm on the phone with her! I don't talk to her that much, and I don't know her that well. I really don't know what to say in response. Look, this isn't one day, this isn't an isolated incident - after a moderate December and mild January it's been just frigid for most of the ensuing seven weeks - 10-20 degrees below normal.

The weather changes. The climate shifts over time. A few cold snaps don't disprove global warming - but a few heat waves don't prove it either.

And please don't respond with some rubbish like "well actually it should be called 'climate change' and this unusually cold weather actually is more evidence of it." Last winter was mild and THAT was supposedly global warming. Over the last five years every winter has been different and every time we heard the same thing - THIS is caused by global warming and THIS is what we can expect - - the story changes with the weather.

It's been said that the only constant is change. Now there's a new constant - that whatever the change is, it's going to be blamed on global warming.

Enough. You've used up any credibility that you ever had.

So i have this little sister that lives in another city she is about 18 yrs old and is very addiced to Crack. I know that she is going to the full extent to get it and it is very hard to watch this. I wanted to take her in so she is surrounded by good people but she isnt ready to give it up or dosent know if she is ready. I work for pediatricians, but I am still alittle concerned. My babes at 4 moths was saying abooooo and ingooooo and just stopped and just squeals now. He is not interested in imitating us either.

Can you tell me, as far as is possible for security purposes, what MI5 (The Security Service) actually do? I am not interested in what it says on their website or on the TV but what MI5 actually do on a day-to-day basis; are most of them desk bound? Do they access to firearms or crime scenes in certain situations? Would calling them plain-clothes police officers, minus the power of arrest, be accurate?

We have to do a history project and I want to get under the skin of the glossy stuff they have on the website, but I fully understand the need for discretion at the same time.
