They don't go away but they fade away to next to nothing. Someone would really have to be looking to find them and they'll just look like little scars. I know how you feel though I've got a few myself. Don't worry though they will fade

Stretch marks do start to fade over time but unfortunately they never really go away. Some spots look worse than others. Avon has fade creams (of which I am a big fan) but you have to keep using them along with regular lotions to keep your skin hydrated. If you ever do find a way to completely rid yourself of a stretch mark you will be a very rich and popular woman. (and you must let me know so I can try your product) lol

Stretch marks are scars. They will fade with time and be less noticeable. Some people recommend using vitamin E lotion when pregnant or growing to prevent stretch-marks.

No, they are permenant marks but they gradually go a silver colour over a long period of time, so they fade easier.
But there is another way; use cocoa butter and rub onto it every morning & night & this helps fade the marks.
Good luck

They don't go away. There is a downside to everything you do. Losing weight is good, but you end up with ugly marks on your body for the rest of your life.

No, they are yours to keep! :( Mother's Friend is a good lotion to use while pregnant, but it doesn't eliminate stretch marks.

They never go away, no matter how skinny you become. They will fade with time, but never disappear.
I've heard you can get them lasered off???
