My guy works at a strip bar. He already told me that a lot of the dancers like him even though they know he has a girlfriend. Tomorrow is his birthday and he told me that the dancers give the bouncers lots of attention on thier birthday. I wanted to do something for him, but he wants to go to the club to celebrate. I'm guessing they'll be teasing him with a lap dance or something else sleezy and although I trust him enough to know he wouldn't sleep with anyone - I just don't like it at all. Is anyone comfortable with thier guy going to strip bars?

Am I the only person disgusted by people who wear their shoes in their house? I lived in NYC and after walking through the dirty streets, taking the subway and stepping on who knows what, how can you take those nasty shoes in your house?

I go barefoot and I am amazed that so many Americans wear shoes in the house. Maybe it's a cultural thing, but that's nasty!!

I'm a conservative myself (not a neo-CON), and I think it's amusing, if not downright silly, that neo-cons think liberals want us to be taken over by Muslims, given that too many Muslims won't let their wives drive cars, many Muslim women have to wear burqas, etc.

So tell me--WHY in the world would liberals want this?

Something to think long and hard about!

Simply what the title says. I want to know how old you must be to carry around a knife in DC and in California with a 3" blade

Reason is that I have a Swiss Army Pocket knife its kinda like my safety blanket. I carry it everywhere because of its convenience. I just use the blade to open my mail and it has other things such as scissors, corkscrew, screwdrivers, tweezers, bottle&can opener, and much more. I don't intend on someone to attempt to kill me.

I'm flying over to DC from California for a Field trip in Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Unit. We'll be doing stuff such as competing for a national Competition and doing some site seeing. As you know, i feel like my knife is a part of me. I just don't want it to be confiscated if I keep it in my luggage not carry on when we take the flight.

My grandmother who is a socialite with classy upscale group of friends is throwing her a birthday bash. Since my grandma usually goes to Mexico for her birthday they are bringing Mexico to Kansas City. So, the party is going to be in a nice country club with the theme of a mexico. They said on the invite to come in your "FIESTA WARE". Just curious to what I should wear. I just don't want to feel out of place. Thanks! It's going to be around 65 to 70 degrees.

It's been said that Lisa Marie Nowak could possibly spend the rest of her life in prison. I know that she pepper sprayed her rival and attempted to kidnap her, but I can't help but think that she shouldn't have to spend the rest of her life in prison. Despite what some of you may think, ANY of us could be pushed over the edge into doing something we wouldn't normally do. I think she should be punished, but I think that she should get professional help rather than life imprisonment.

PLEASE HELP!! I am trying to figure out what the hell this repair shop is trying to pull. I was in an accident in a 2000 Civic where I sustained moderate front end damage. Initial estimate was $2900. Now the shop is trying to raise the estimate to $3900, saying the "core board" (cork board?) has to be replaced at an aftermarket cost of $200 for the part and 14 hours of labor. This seems excessive and I have no idea what this part is. Can anyone shed some light on this? What is this part? If it really does need to be replaced, is 14 hours (!) excessive? THANK YOU!!

I can't beleive I don't remmeber this but just a quick question.

How do you reduce this:

x(squared) - x - 6/ x(squared) - 8x + 15

I know the two x (squared)'s cancel to male

x - 6 / 8x + 15

but can I reduce that farther?
and what are the restrictions for what x can equal?

Thank you! =)

I went to a concert last night with my girls and at the gate, a security officer had to search me. he took me aside and said he saw something in my skirt, so he got a female officer to search me. right in front of my friends this female officer put her hand up my skirt and basicaly massged my privates for like 10 seconds in fromt of 2 other security guys and my friends. is this legal cause i was really really embarrased! then the girl smirks at me and says "ok your fine, but your panties are a bit wet now" and laughed after she said it. i didnt say anything cause i was told that they were allowed to do that.
