My grandmother who is a socialite with classy upscale group of friends is throwing her a birthday bash. Since my grandma usually goes to Mexico for her birthday they are bringing Mexico to Kansas City. So, the party is going to be in a nice country club with the theme of a mexico. They said on the invite to come in your "FIESTA WARE". Just curious to what I should wear. I just don't want to feel out of place. Thanks! It's going to be around 65 to 70 degrees.

Definatley color! The spanish are known for elaborate colors. The brighter the better.

You could wear a flowery dress with a sombero, easy to put together and very "fiesta" like. You could also take a shawl or pashmina for when it gets cooler.

Cross a tastefull dress with something bright and cheery. As it's mexican theme, most people make the wrong choice of going 'spanish' instead, which is black and red. You want to be wearing orange, red and yellow primarily, and bright eye make up (subtle liip gloss too). And blush high on the cheekbones.
Wear a frilly, over the top skirt with many ruffles and layers. If you can, try asymmetrical cut or with a split for movement, otherwise it will be stiffling.
you need heeled shoes, in red or orange. Failing that, strappy sandals always works ^_^
For the top, you will need something bright, and with frills. A gypsy style corset, or similar top will be fine. Corsets are great for this type of party. make sure it's not too boned or too thick though.
Take along a glittery shawl or beaded or crochet shawl. this gives a nice mexican effect.
Hair: Wear curly and everywhere, or throw back in a bun with lots of bangs cascading out. Add a big flower hair pin or ribbons.
Accessories: Big cunky bangles, and a beaded necklace. Mexican = wooden beads too, so if you can, go for that. Also, a cute anklet will finish the look.
Tights:: People think that tights/pantyhose/stockings aren't important but I think a pair that is tanned will complete the look! It's a mexican thing...

Well, good luck and have a great party! Wish your Grandma a happy birthday for me! If you need anything else, email me missytetra@yahoo.co.uk ^_^

Well since it is a party for your grandmother and it is at a country club you should go for something colorful/yet tasteful with a small spanish touch that is also age appropriate.
