There may be more Chinese speakers, but there are more German tourists, and if you are doing tourism then German is your best bet

German speakers represent a large travel community. this will always be handy for you in India. Obviously Chinese represents 1,3 B people. Korean seems a bit useless in your context. they dont travel much and certainly not to India.

Besides English, what's the largest demographic of tourists speaking any of these languages? With the exception of Chinese (because of the incredible population there), I believe Spanish is usually spoken in more countries worldwide.

Firstly, find out which language has a larger demand for interpreters in India.
Perhaps you could enquire at airports and job agencies dealing with interpreters.
