It's always good to know that people that you communicate with on this forum on a daily basis whether for or against are people like me, with dreams and ambitions. I guess what I'm keen to know is the people behind the avatars, besides the troubles of our country, what else interests you?

Science fiction, braais, dissregard for speed limits when driving my gholfie looking for kak, creatine, mind- numbing house music and need for speed carbon. These are a few of my favourite things (in that order) and no, I am not an Indian oke!

Mmmh, what interests me...?
I think like you, most of the other people on this forum. Why they do as they do, what has affected them in the past, what has lead them to view life, the world or South Africa in general as they do? Besides that I think most are just wonderful, and brilliant people...and amazingly, I think in the two months having come back to work and discovered the South African category, I've grown and most of the people here seem to have as well... See now, even growth interests me. To think that I can allow myself different view points from people, and learn that what I've always grown up with , may not always be right for others as it is seemingly for me. Other thing is the input i can also have...
Other than that... love, pool, my fiance, you my friend, mash (its the baby not me), movies, flea markets and lounges/cafes... my job (i love writing), poetry, music, BIG BAGS, shoes and earings... lol

I live for my one year old boy. ;-) My x husband is British, and that's how I ended up in the UK. I am passionate about animal welfare, work with mentally disabled people and can't wait to move back to my country and my family in a few year's time! But if the situation does not approve there, then I'll just live out here in the cold if that protects my boy! I only work part time as I am looking after little one, and I study part time.

Now that's more than you wanted to know isn't it? LOL

ekse homie!!

I think South African braais totally rock... There is nothing like a Friday night out with friends (no matter where in the world).

Music... and more lekker musik ekse yo!!!

And there is nothing like travelling in the Drakensberg mountains or chilling at the Durban ('s over crowded) beach/es over the festive season... I'm always there chilling with old friends.

Nothing get my blood boiling like travelling... I just don't get along with guys who were born in a small town and are going to die in a small town... So many cultures out there and so many exotic places to see...

Basically that is what interests me... its not much but its all I have you know :)
