My previous question: "If I had the 100% truth on everything would you want to know? Even if it meant that you're entire belief system was going to be shattered."

See this is the problem, faith over reason cannot be good for you. It's okay to believe in a higher power, but never leave yourself closed to new ideas, you don't know everything so don't pretend you do.

i was shopping online at Victoria secrets at my college dorm and it was working fine but then all of a sudden my internet wouldnt connect. i have shopped online from VS plenty of times in my dorm but this was the first time it shut off randomly. so can they like see what i see too and then shut off internet access personally to my computer? i am really freaking out here!!! anyone who knows anything about computers let me know please!!

melting point of steel is around 2500f 1600c ... building 7 was not hit by a plane.. the wtc 1-2 would have fallen towards the direction of impact. firefighters near the damage zone did not report any heat. Bushes brothers security firm had access to the buildings prior 9/11 and was in charge of security. Explosions were heard seconds prior to them falling. Other sky skrapers have burnt for 23 hours straight and not fallen. The empire state building was hit by a B-52 and still stands. Why did the government illegal rush to destroy evidence before an investigation could be started? Why do they say some one would have come forward when anyone who does is just called a conspiracy theorist?

Do you think World War II was justified?

Is this the one exception you have to war?

Do you think that Hitler's multiple invasions after European leaders tried to make peace with him justified the war?

Do you believe something as horrible as the Holocaust is grounds for a war or do you have no exceptions?

Given that the woman who was subdued with a few swift police punches has admited she was very drunk, has no recollection of the events in question, and according to more than one police officer was violent and even grabbed one of them in the nuts, why does she have the right to complain? Would this have even made the press if the woman was white?
It seems to me that irrespective of creed or colour people need to take responsibility for their own actions and cannot then blame the police if they are so violent it takes five officers and a dog to subdue her.

Well this is probaly the strangest place to put this but I need some kind of advice.
I use to love my career (IT) and used to be a real go getter. I use to take the hardest projects and enjoy when they were hard or difficult. I use to love going to classes and getting that next cert. Some of the things that have caused me to lose my zest for life are not getting to spend enough time for my daughter (She lives in Europe due to Immigration issues with her mother). I have worked hard at trying to get back to her by gaining numerous certifications. In my current work place I have people who are very incompetent and yet still argue with me about the smallest things. Also I am friendly with my boss but he micromanages the hell out me and would rather not see me not work at all. To try and regain motivation about my Career and Certifications and life in General I have tried hypnosis but it seems to work for a bit.and then stops.
I am not depressed … I just feel like hiding on some beach in South America and doing nothing forever. Actually I feel that doing nothing will bore me enough to get me motivated about life again.

I've been reading a lot of people's responses on here and I think it's pathetic how a majority of them give some crappy answers to clearly get points. Even some of the "top contributors" say a bunch of nonsense. So I'm just curious in whoever answers my question whether or not you are just giving some fluff answers to get points or whether you truly want to help someone with your answer. In my opinion, points aren't going to get you anywhere but give you a higher number that's good for nothing and waste your time, whereas sincerely answering someone's question could make a difference to them somehow.

My PC was infected yesterdy by something called SpyDawn. It was suggested somewhere in Yahoo Answers that Lavasoft's Ad_ware SE Personal would remove it. I ran it as well as Spyware Doctor by PC-Tools and McAfee's Antivirus package. 'SpyDawn' has been removed but my problem is that an irritating FLASHING blue circular icon keeps appearing on my task bar everytime I restart my windowsXP. I can disable it ('Always Hide') but it comes back again when I re-start Windows. Can anyone help, please. How do I remove that small icon blue circle with a '?' always flashing from the task bar and not merely 'disable it' ? How d I remove it from my task bar and preferable from my PC altogether ?

We are trying to conceive so I stopped using birthcontol (OrthoEvra, the "patch") about 5 months ago---for about the past 2 months my skin seems so much more oily. I have random breakouts not just on my face but also on my chest and upper back. IS THIS NORMAL? I've never had any acne problems like this before.

I really noticed when I tried feeding her and she wouldnt eat all she would do is strike at the rat and if I got close to the tank she would strike at me and also her eyes look like she has retained eye caps after shedding but she has not shed they look cracked and cloudy all snakes I have seen shed there eyes get cloudy but not cracked. just wondering what is wrong if anything and what should I do. where I live none of the vets around know much about reptiles. please help
