i only want to play games on my wii, not go online. Will i ever need to update?

i have no wireless internet and the wii does not have an ethernet portt. i just want to play games. Do i ever need to update it just to play games?

If a future game requires an update it is likely the game itself will contain the update necessary to update the system. Goto www.nintendo.com and goto the Wii forums and ask.

Maybe. If they update the system with something that could effect future games, and the future games need that update, then yes, you'll need to connect.

For the most part, you can play all the games that are out now, though.

for most games no but in the future you might need the update to play them. so you will be ok for now.
