why do i have to boot my computer for a second time to activate the sound card?

i have to rebbot my computer to get the audio portion of the system to work, if at first i dont hear the windows theme then i now that i have to reboot the computer, how can i fix it

try reinstalling or updating driver.

Some times it is better to do a complete shut down than just a restart. Good luck.
