As a child I was lucky enough to spend time living in Bahrain before it got discovered by the tourist trade.
My back garden was the desert miles of golden sand and dunes stretched for as far as the eye could see.
Every two weeks a tribe of nomads would pass through set up a camp for overnight and rest for the day, along with the camels.
I knew when they arrived and would run out to await the coffee making which was a coffee jug hung over the open fire to brew and as I remember it was thick Arabic coffee and very strong once it was brewed they added enough sugar to send you to the dentist topped off by tinned condensed milk!
There was I seated on my haunches holding an old tin can which was probably used for goodness knows what waiting for the coffee to be poured.
Mum would come and collect me and I would wave having drunk this mixture which was nectar to me at the time and see them on the next stop over. This was the most exciting place for a coffee break.
To this day the smell and the taste always take me back to Bahrain if i am enjoying a coffee in a middle eastern coffee house.

Coffee on the run near the Trafalgar Square in London.

Coffee in the Rainforest Cafe in Chicago.
And last but not least the best cup of coffee was on one little diner in Kentucky where they served cinnamon coffee (real cinnammon ) served along with Boston Brown Bread and cream cheesse, mmmmm unforgetable.

At home, in bed. With two women. I don't even like coffee, but they got me some, and I wasn't about to refuse. As you can guess, the coffee wasn't the exciting part of this story.

In the Gothic, on a very strange cafe shop, that all the tables, chairs, everything you where making it will you where drinking your cafe.
They where taking a photo of you will you where making your design, and you had to write something on the walls a message, and on the things that u where making a signature.
After a will they where selling them, and they where given you the 45% of the price.
Like this the cafe shop was always changing, and you where earning some money.

At a restaurant they have an undercover cop patrol on the weekend, -wild drunkfights. (2 weeks ago 2 tables started fighting over racism, it lead to about half the restaurant trying to break the fight up, then several were fist fighting, the manager was hiding behind the counter on the phone freaking out with 911 to send cops quick cause someone may pull a gun out, they kept asking her questions...(several were arrested along with women.)
