I just bought one for $630, was that a good deal?

Recently I bought a thinner cable to connect my harddrive with instead of the bulky ribbon cable, and it didnt seem to work. After hooking up my old ribbon cable to the harddrive with everything as it was when it worked last, I turned on the computer and the harddrive and the dvd drive didnt start. I eventually figured out that if i unhook the dvd drive, the harddrive will work. This is great temporarily, but can anyone tell me what is wrong and how i can fix it?

Learned here on YA that Murray Rothbard (in his book Man, Economy and State) was the first one to use the character Robinson Crusoe (in book by Daniel Defoe) for an economic model. In this model, the individual has to supply all of his wants and needs, and learn to hunt and farm and make furniture etc, etc.
Is it possible to here propose a Calpurnian Economic Model? According to the storyteller in Harper Lee’s book/movie (To Kill A Mockingbird), Calpurnia taught her son, Zeebo, to read the fonts used in printed books and participated with Miss Maudie, Aunt Alexandra in nurturing a daughter in the Finch family who had lost her mother. One of the daughters in the book, in the Ewell family by contrast, did not have three caring adults to help her grow to adulthood.

My boyfriend and I have settled on the first name Gabriella for our baby girl, but he likes the middle name Antia (his grandmothers name) and I like Ann (which is the girl middle name for everyone in my family for generations including me). So help us out... which do you think sounds better.

..and stuff, and I guess been 15 I quite enjoyed it, then she kicked me out of home at 16 and kept my daughter, saying she wouldn't have her grandchild in a hostel. I am now 19, in a stable relationship with my boyf of a year and a half and we have our own house as he is quite well off. Very begrudgingly my Mum let me have my daughter, who is now 4, because both her and my Dad are in ill health, their house is a disgusting tip and they kept having Social Services round, my daughter wasn't getting bathed, getting dressed or anything, they were still feeding her like a baby!
I am now 8 weeks pregnant and my Mother reckons she will have my daughter back in September because I won't be able to cope, when I understand that it will be hard, but my 4 year old will be at school and my boyf only works Mon-Fri 9 until 5. My daughter is now happy, clean and feeding herself, but doesn't understand why Mummy isn't so keen to let her spend time with her Nanny......am I right to be worried?

Okay I know there are more i just cant think of them. But it seems like there are not very many just normal names. I dont really like the new modern spellings of names. I like classic names. Like my daughter is Julie Mary and our lasy name is Green.

I do not know the sex of our new baby yet .... im just trying to have set names before its born!!

My sister-in-law and I were pregnant at the same time, due about 4 weeks apart (girls were actually born 3 days apart). Anyway, at my baby shower, she brought out her sonogram pictures to show everyone to see if people could figure out if she was having a boy or girl. I understand, some women might have them in their purse, but I thought it was a little "look-at-me look-at-me" to bust them out to talk to guests at my shower about her sonogram pictures. Our daughters are a little over two now, but I just found this out in the past couple of days. I'm not going to say anything to her, but am I wrong to think that was kind of selfish? I've never been the type to say anything like "today is MY day" or anything like that. For example, I really wouldn't care of she had announced her pregnancy during my birthday dinner or something, but this kind of irks me.

Does anyone one know why in the world the gas prices r going through the roof lately???? I'm a junior. I mostly want to major in fashion design, but i'm scared if I do I'll have trouble finding a job out of school. So then I thought of majoring in fashion design and business, to help get a business going. So do you think i should major in fashion design and business... or
