bonjela is not enough. You probably have a bacterial infection, and if it gets worse it may affect the roots of your teeth and THEN will it get painful!!! Go to a dentist before its too late.

Your question is unclear and the use of the spellchecker seems alien to you. If you are talking about ulcers inside the mouth, these may be apthous ulcers, which are viral. If this is the case there is no cure, and very little effective treatment.

Bongela may well numb them, it is more comfortable taking cold soft food. There are two things sometimes GP prescribed, Corlan pellets and adcortyl in orobase paste. Both are steroid based, little better than Bonjela, and neither shorten the time the ulcers last.

If these are apthous ulcers they last about 10 days per ulcer and are recurrent. If there is any doubt as to the nature of your ulcers you should get your GP to look at them anyway.

All I can recommend other than seeing a doctor would be to rinse your mouth out with salty warm water as often as you can. It will hurt and sometimes you will not want to do it, but when you do it will help. Be aware that mouth ulcers can be a form of the cold sore virus - Herpes Simplex virus and if you put your mouth on anyone the disease can be transmitted if there is open skin. The salty water should help though :-) Good luck!

If you get ulcers frequently, you may have a bacterial infection in you mouth that causes ulcers in small breaks in your gums. Speak to your GP and explain how often you get them. They'll know if you need antibiotics or if you just need to carry on using bonjela. Ulcers are also a symptom of stress, so if that's a problem, speak to your GP about that too. Good luck. x

It's really painful, but use salt. Put it on a cotton bud and dab the ulcer. It's the on;y thing I find helps.
Consistent ulcers can be a reaction to some medicines, thought I'd mention that as that's what my problem was.

Good luck, hope you get rid of the nasty thing.

Drink Aloe Vera juice. Make sure it is 100% Aloe Vera Juice though or it will flare the ulcer even more. I would consult a doctor ASAP to see why you keep getting ulcers.
