He liked the bath so much he wants another -
seriously - mine used to do that till we cold hosed him instead of giving him a nice warm bath !

It has to do with the fact that he belongs to the wolf family and the basic primal need to cover his scent so other predators and also his game can not identify his scent. The behavior is ingrained and will never be changed.
