I was running a Norton Antivirus Scan when my computer froze. I waited to see if it'd unfreeze but it didn't. So I manually turned off the computer and turned it back on. When it turned back on I found it had system restored to a checkpoint 2 years ago. I have no other system restore checkpoints between these 2 years. What can I do?

Ok, so I admit I'm completely corny but I've been watching those YouTube clips of people doing famous dances at their wedding receptions and I think it looks like fun. (Thriller would be too much for me, but I really liked the Dirty Dancing one). Any ideas on a great dance from a music video or movie that would be fun to do at my wedding reception in December?

My point is : Isn't it still true that if you are a bad guy, you will not go to heaven even if you read the Bible and pray every day ? Each and every Christian can go to heaven ? If so, it doesn't sounds like a religion anymore. It sounds like a TV commercial. This is not a joke. Serious answers only please. Thank you in advance. btw I am a person who has read the Bible, but I can understand the New Testament only, not the whole book, and I don't believe I have fully understood the concept of heaven. Jesus didn't talk much about heaven.

I'm curious as to why certain devices require a clock signal for communication (ie. microcontroller interfacing with a smartcard reader) whereas other devices just require a data and ground connection (RS232). I notice that RS232 specifies a baud/data/stop bit parameter whwereas the smartcard/clock driven devices do not. What is the relationship between the two and how do they work? Thanks!

OK I live in Phoenix Arizona, I have a husband who is not the father of my unborn child, I don't want my baby to have his last name but I have been told by many of people that because I am married and I have changed my last name to his last name that means now my baby will have the same last name. Does anyone know what the law is here? do you know if the baby ends up having to have this last name when and how I can change that? Ok thanks.

I'm very excited about going but I'm nervous aswell.. any advice to make my 8 hour plane ride easier from people who have traveled before? Is flying scary? I'm going to Paris and all over Italy with 25 kids from my school and one teacher, I can't wait. how can roaches survive by eating anything? I don't get it. Disgusting insects that serve no purpose, live only 2 weeks, and nobody wants around, and yet they are the most equipped to survive. Why can't it be humans that are capable of doing that? And how do roaches survive like that? Like how can they just eat anything and still survive? Is that even possible?

So, Black holes emit x-rays in two jets. So, isn't possible for a black hole to be lurking somewhere close by, say 1 to 1000 lightyears that -could- be undetectable if none of the x-ray jets are aimed in our direction?
(Yes, I realize 1 light year away is basically impossible, but just of curiousity's sake...My son asked me about this and I thought it was a good question.)

My child has ADHD for sure (recently hospitalized for "psychiatric condition requiring treatment"). He is now back at school. Did NOT qualify for special education last year because his behavior does not affect his educational perfermance. But, his evaluation states the following:

1. "An ability to build or maintain satisfactory interpersonal relationships with peers and teachers"
2. "Inappropriate types of behavior or feelings under normal circumstances exhibited in several situations"
3. "A tendency to develop physical symptoms or fears associated with personal or school problems"
4. "A general pervasive mood of unhappiness or depression"

How can I get him to qualify???? How far does he have to fall behind to get help? Or, how bad to things need to get to get services for him?
