Can anybody tell me what to do. It's a dell. How can I get it back where it was?

How do I find out which video card I have. when I go to device manager, it doesn't show a monitor at all?

Download the appropriate video drivers from dell's web page and reinstall them.

Hi

First you need to go to the dell site , and hit support then write down your model of pc and just download the VIDEO CARD driver. The other way around , is , IF you have the recovery disk then just put it in and go to device manager and just hit update driver and direct windows to look into the cd

You need to make sure you have the right video card drivers installed. Find out the make and model of your video card; go to the manufacturers website; look for the driver; install the driver; restart your computer.

Reinstall the graphics driver if you have separate software for it, otherwise run Microsoft update on your system...it should detect newer drivers for your system. Your key looking point would be in the right click (on your desktop screen), properties - settings. Adjust to your liking (1024x768 at 32bit color depth is mine).

Time to download the drivers for your video card. Go to www.dell support.com. By the way xp don't have this problem.

go to support.dell.com and enter your service code usually found on a sticker on the tower of the computer, reinstall your drivers
