THINK it is going? It isn't thinking! I'm not sure chickens think anyway. Even if chickens do think, the headless ones have no brain with which to think. The headless chicken feels nothing because all those senses are perceived by the brain which is no longer connected to the body. Thinking? No-it is dying! The running is simply a reflex.

Chickens do not think...they are the stupidest animal on earth, when you compare their percent of central nervous system to their body weight. That is why they can live with out a brain. That is what running with your head cut off means. There are documented cases on chickens living months after having their head cut off when the owners figured a way to feed them.
