All I want to do is join the air force as a military doctor. All I wanted to do was do all the cool stuff like the marines. Do fast roping and spy rigging of a helicopter, climb over wall, learn to snipe, learn military tactics such as "slicing the pie" and many more.

but now I hear, according to the Geneva Convention, medical personals can only carry a 9mm pistol and ONLY SHOOT when their life or their patient's life is in danger.

This is so lame, I can't even get my first kill......wtf?

What kind of bird has a black head and throat, with a white or grey ring around it's neck with a grey chest, body and wings? It's smaller than a robin, but bigger than a sparrow, with a seed eating beak. We've seen it twice here in Charlotte, NC, but even the woman at the bird store can't identify it.

I am having period-like cramps and according to my calender, I started to ovulate today. I have had these cramps for the past two days. I was wondering if anyone else experienced cramps during ovulation. I usually only have them pre-menstration. Could it be just normal, something I ate, or could I be pregnant?
I have had 2 previous miscarriages, and was afraid I could not conceive due to that (a blood clot formed behind the placenta which cut off the blood flow of the baby), however my OB-GYN said that I could still.

I appreciate your answers and personal experiences. Thank you!

If there was a company that offered to deliver to you everyday things at your home or office, would you use it? Why or why not?

Think like this: the middle of the night your child wakes up with a cough, but you don't have any cough syrup- this local company would bring it right to you

Scenerio 2- you're about to go to bed and totally forgot that your nephew's birthday party is tomorrow and you forgot to get him that gift certificate to Toys R Us

Scenerio 3- You were supposed to pick up milk on your way home from work, but it totally slipped your mind. You weren't planning to go back out that night...

Would you take advantage of this service? Why/why not? And how much would you pay for something like this?

I know it's not just women so don't say it's because we're catty. Men too are very judgmental and criticize people.

For example: What does it matter who has a big nose and why does it need to be pointed out? Yeah, you'd notice it but let it go.

I know I criticize when it comes to people acting suggestively in public or on tv because I don't like it but how do you explain some one being made fun of for having a club foot? Having frizzy hair, walking funny? The popular kid being dumped? Etc. Do we take solace in other people's faults and suffering?

I don't understand it.

I put my child aged 20mths in childcare for one day but really only stayes 3 hours. But know we have started playgroup he love first few visits now does'nt like me out of his sight as he thinks I'm going to leave him like at childcare.. He only cries at childcare and cares are not really good with him... DO I TAKE THEM OUT OF CHILDCARE AND GO TO PLAYGROUP TWO DAYS A WEEK. I DON'T WORK ... My great toe nail has suddenly started to curve inwards which is causing pain and puss also. I have no idea how this happened. The only reason I can think of is that it is due to my sitting with folded legs while nursing my baby. Before my baby was born, I never use to sit in that posture for long time. I have already faced nail bed infection with other toe and it was very painful. Please advise if this is nail bed infection or not. How to cure this problem. I heard nail bed happens due to water but how can it cause my nail to curve inwards. My brother has the same problem with both his toes.
