Do you think that a much larger scale war in the Middle East is inevitable? Will this world ever be safe if the likes of Iran, Syria and N. Korea are allowed to continue on the paths they have chosen? I think we need to expect some difficult times in the very near future, how about you?

Okay, so there was this girl I knew that went to middle school with me and I knew her from 6th grade to 8th grade, but we didn't really start becomming friends until 8th grade. When we did become friends, though, she began to physically and verbally abuse me. This went on all through 8th grade, and then we went to high school and I haven't seen her since the last day of 8th grade. And for the record, I'm now a freshman in high school. And several months ago I began to realize that I missed her. I always just tried to convince myself that I was wrong, but is it possible to miss an abuser after not seeing her for months?

i've had this friend for a year now. things were great at first but now things have gone down hill fast. where we fight all the time if it's just us but act like there is nothing wrong when we have people around us. i've been there and helped out and have a lot of investment in him to just let him go. now it just seems like he wants to be with me since i have money. just the other night he told me if i didn't give him that 10 he was down with me. do you think i should let him how i feel hoping that he might change or just forget it and move on

In an age of globaisation, does it really matter to try and salvage an identity as we all grow towards a glodal village? As far as I know the people of Britain are so alike compared to elsewhere it just seems unnecessary to go for independence.
I understand that the rule of Scotland could also be seemed as oppressive in the past, but is that still the case, is it that personal that Scotts dislike the English rule so much, or is it more a case of Scotland wanting to have the own politics and policies.
In my experience people whether English or Scottish are always going to be the same, identity doesnt really matter to me anymore, I just wonder if this is the case? Do you agree?

Ps I dont want to cause any offence to Scottish people here, I am just confused about the issue?

I've been a nice guy my whole life and it hasn't gotten me anywhere. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a dork or anything, I've dated many women but I usually get told I'm too nice. What's wrong if my parents raised me right? What's wrong if I know how to treat a woman? Should I just start being a jerk to women? I bet I'd see better results. Anywho, thats the end of my rant... For those not familiar with Reporters without Borders, they are a well-respected and independent group.

This much we know, it isn't possible to have democracy without a proper free press. How can US, now #56 in the press freedom index talk about bringing democracy anywhere when its own democracy is so faulty?!

When a person is asked to cross their flexed legs then one thigh crossed over the knee. In this study about 62% of the population (n = 292) are right leg-crossers, 26% are left leg-crossers, and the remaining 12% report that they have no preference or are indifferent. For me, I'm always cross right over left leg. I'm cross right over left very flexible. When I cross left over right, I feel uncomfortable.
