Titanium is NOT polished/cleaned using carbon dioxide--otherwise all you have to do breathe on it to polish/clean.

You can clean titanium with a mild soap and dry with a soft cloth.

Regular polishing tools used by a jeweler to polish gold or silver can also be used to polish titanium--they will have to use a polishing compound on those tools that is stronger than the compound used on silver and gold.

The appearance of titanium that has not been electrolytically anodized to produce another color is a soft gray--very much like stainless steel.
