Well, if we DO last that long (which liberals only give us 20 more years at most so who cares about 5 billion) before we freeze to death from a sun that has burned out we will burn to death from the sun expanding to a supernova. Past the charcoal please.

Actually, the sun will start to turn into a red giant in about 2.5 to 3 billion years from now and will start to expand until it finally gets out to the orbit of Mars. So although the sun has about 4 to 5 billion years before it explodes, Earth itself will be a long, gone memory at that time. Hopefully, humanity will relocate to other star systems by then.

In 5 billion years, I would hope that we have advanced to the point where we are exploring the far reaches of space. If we aren't, then we would have killed ourselves off.

Why concern yourself with things that God controls? You hold no power over the sun. Not even a hair on your head! Do not be fooled, God is Still In Charge!

Everyone is going to die someday. It's best if we all go together, right? Who cares when.
