Why do girls like guys who are jerks?

I've been a nice guy my whole life and it hasn't gotten me anywhere. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a dork or anything, I've dated many women but I usually get told I'm too nice. What's wrong if my parents raised me right? What's wrong if I know how to treat a woman? Should I just start being a jerk to women? I bet I'd see better results. Anywho, thats the end of my rant... Thanks for your opinions!

Everyone holds themselves to a certain standard. Some people hold themselves to a low standard and don't expect much out of their life. Others hold themself to a high standard and work constantly on improving every area of their life.

The girls that you've been dating obviously aren't the right ones for you because you hold yourself to a higher standard then they hold themselves. Maybe you have more self confidence then they do. People are usually uncomfortable around people who aren't like them (or the way they would like to be), and it's difficult and uncomfortable for people to change. That's why they say that you're too nice, because you have more respect for them and yourself then the guys who they normally go out with and it would be easier for them to find someone else then to change.

No, there is nothing wrong with you being nice, it just shows that you have dated the wrong women. I think we fall for jerks because the jerks are usually really hot, and we are mesmorized by their good looks. But the good thing is, by liking or dating a jerk, the lucky girls can ususally find one good, sweet, cute guy who trys to help them, then we's eventually fall for him. Don't start being a jerk to us, that is like digging a hole then hitting yourself in the face with a shovel. Keep being polite and nice, you'll find a girl who appreciates you.
