OK who thought that Lakisha just TOOK IT ON HOME last night. I just love her. She is so "human" and a single mom and just so appreciative of it all. When they told her she had made it into the top 24 and just a single tear dripped down her cheek when asked if there were any regrets. I just love her. She gave me chills when singing. Who agrees?? Or what are your thoughts???

I haven't seen much of my parents over the years, as they are both incorregible theives. They spend their lives in and out of prison because they'll poinch anything that isn't bolted down.

On a recent family function, I had the rare opportunity to be in the same room as both of them for the first time since I was nine and it dawned on me that I don't seem to share any physical attributes with either of them, or any of my other family members for that matter. Furthermore, I have always been quite honest, which is strange given that theft provided pretty much everything I was given as a child and I knew no other way except what I learned in school.

I asked "gran" about this, because everybody else was carted off by parole or prison officers before too long, and she admitted I had been adopted. However, nobody knows where any of the paperwork is.

Given the fact that my "family" is a bunch of kleptomaniacs, is it possible that they quite simply stole me? How can I find out?

He is a very smart student A & Bs but lately he is disrespectful to his teacher. He is very disorganized he argues alot with classmates and is very forgetful. He just dont seem to care about school anymore and when things go wrong he blames every one else for his problems. He loves video games but they have been taken aqay. I have spanked him and Im just fed up. Im sick of the notes from school sayin what he DIDNT do today and I know he is a smart kid but I also know he is starting puberty(hair under arms) What do I do as a mom I feel like giving up and oh yeah dad is not around we are divorced for 5 years now. My son has gotten worse this grade year. Should I send him to live with my uncle maybe he can raise him better than me. I feel like a failure as a parent and I DONT BELIEVE IN MEDICATING CHILDREN FOR BEHAVIOR PROBLAMS.

I'm really concerned here! i mean my dad just picked up a new copy of Windows Vista, but i don't know if I shold install it. I love my Media Center edition computer way too much, but it's okay I don't need it. Will I lose all my softwares and data though? does that mean I will have to reinstall everything?

And if I do, how can I back up what I've got now so I can chuck it back into my new OSed computer? Any (inexpensive or hopefully free) recommendations?

And also, are my softwares(/software... how do you say software in plural?) compatible in Vista?

Thanks to everybody who took the trouble to confirm that it is possible to burn files to existing folders on a DVD in the same way that can be done using CDs. However nobody explained exactly how it is done. As far as I can see Nero simply burns file to wherever there is space availble on the disc; I don't see a facility for allocating it to folders already on the DVD.

I have one child- I was 22 when he was born and I have not been able to concieve since, (5.5 years) Dr. says I do not ovulate and should start clomin. I am wondering if any one else has used this and what the results were? i.e side effects, time it took to concieve, just the basic story I geuss. Any response is appreciated.

I don't have problem with you voicing your unhappiness about the wrongs in the country. Whether you feel that crime is out of control, whether as a white person you feel discriminated at or whether you just hate the ANC. You have that right. But what's unending negativity about the country. Will that remove the "terrorist" Mandela from the face of the earth?

Aren't you feeding the stereotypes that say most white S/Africans feel out of place because they yearn for apartheid? How will your being so negative help solve real and perceived problems in the country? You are being irritated by others blaming "everyhting" on apartheid, but in the same breath your postings are sheer racism which you are quick to denounce by claiming that you are not a racist. We can argue with the many "if you are nots". But how would that make every S/African feel at home?

To me, and many other blacks, this country needs all its people, black and white. We all belong here!

My son has been really sick with a very stopped up nose. He had a tempature of 105.5 the other night, we took him to the ER, and they told us he has a viral infection. I want to know how to help his nose. I had a scan yesterday that showed I had a pregnancy sac measuring 1.4 cm and 6 weeks 4 days but they could see nothing else in the sac.I was told to come back in 2 weeks for another scan. the doctor was very non-committal whether it is possible that the pregnancy could be viable still. the websites I have looked at show something in the sac at 6 weeks. Is this the same for all pregnancies. Also if the sac was measured at 6 weeks 4 days does that mean from conception. This pregnancy is a complete shock for me I had been trying for 13 yrs even had IVF and was told I couldn't conceive naturally so I gave up and accepted it then this happened. It feels really unfair now that it looks very likely that my pregnancy isn't developing.
