Thanks to everybody who took the trouble to confirm that it is possible to burn files to existing folders on a DVD in the same way that can be done using CDs. However nobody explained exactly how it is done. As far as I can see Nero simply burns file to wherever there is space availble on the disc; I don't see a facility for allocating it to folders already on the DVD.

you can proabably try using neros help line...or you could just rip the data form the dvd and use dvdrebuilder to remake the vd the way you want to

via fact the others stated yet u cant be advantageous that the 17Gig could be compressed into 4 Gig. so only spectacular click on the folder and if u have winzip or winrar opt for upload to archive then on the 1st tab which will shows u have an option to compress and splitt into DVD's. thats way u could be advantageous the effect will extra healthful into dvd.
