If you feel comfortable enough with her I would definetly get her a card and possibly a gift. If she is far enough along maybe you could get her a baby gift, but if she isn't maybe something just for her. My brother and sis-in-law bought me some belly creams for stretch marks when I first got pregnant, and it was (and still is) a neat and much appreciated gift. That way it gives her something to indulge in and also celebrate her pregancy. Or maybe you could make a date and shop for some maternity clothes (your treat). Whatever your budget is pick something and I'm sure she will love it. Even like I said first, a simple card of Congrats I'm sure would make her day.

It depends how far along she is. A baby shower is a great idea. So is a card. You could also get her a gift just for her. Such as a gift card to a local or on line maternity store. (Its hard to buy maternity clothes for someone else.) Or, if she feels up to it, you could offer to take her out for a celebratory lunch. Whatever you decide, the gesture and thought are sure to be appreciated. Hope that helps.

Usually a Baby shower is thrown about a month or two before the due date but if you wanted to buy her something small to congratulate her, thats fine too. If you are supersticious...its suggested that you dont buy anything for the baby until she is at least four months pregnant..

Well, congrats to your sister. I would throw her a baby shower. That would show her how much you care. :) You can still get a card also though. Just think about the baby shower though. Good luck to you and your sister! :)

You could make her a scrapbook, send her flowers, or give her a gift certificate for a massage or a manicure.
