Who else has heard the superstition? "If you change the name but not the letter, you marry for worse and not for better."

My maiden name began with a T and my married name begins with a B. I'm getting ready to divorce but if I were to remarry, would I want to avoid someone with the last name that starts with a T or a B?

I don't mind ab exercises, but crunches, sit-ups, etc. hurt my mid/lower back. I had someone watch me do them to see if I was doing them somehow incorrectly. They said my form was great and had no idea why it hurts my back, but it does. Any suggestions ?

Ok The earth revolves about the sun with a radius 9.3x10^7 miles....THe radius of the orbit sweeps out an angle with what exact angular velocity (in radians per hour)? How fast to the nearst hundred miles per hour is the earth traveling?

I got the answer for how fast the earht is travling by converting 1 rev of 365 days to 8760 hours then 2PI/8760 gives me pi/4380 and that is 66,705...... that rounds to 66,700 MPH the earth is travling along its orbit...

I can not get the radians per hour it is traveling am I missing something?

There is two names on the deed of property. The other owner, has left the state, and I can not find him, and don't have the money for a people search. He is not helping with property tax, and has no interest in the property. I would like to sell or buy him out, but with two names on the deed, what do I do. Hope anyone can help. I have to buy a car next week..I just want to spend 2000.00-2500.00, Found a couple on Craig's list. I have been with "him" for 7 years, we have 2 young children together and we are not married. We recently relocated out of state; far away from any family and friends due to my job. He has recently been very irresponsible with our finances and inconsiderate towards me; (ie, staying out for long periods of time, not letting anyone know where he is refusing to answer calls, including his work when he was supposed to be there. Leaving me alone without a vehicle and no way to get to work or get my kids to school and no way to get a hold of him, or anyone for that matter.) Recently his paychecks have gone "missing" and offers the following vague explanations for these things (I work too much, the truck broke down, I had to help someone out, etc, etc) I am getting fed up with this and whenever he is home he is mean and bossy, when I asked him to leave he told me I couldn't make him because his name was on the lease and that I couldn't leave either, nor could I take the kids if I tried. HELP!

A group in my community is going to give a scholarship to someone in the area, but I haven't lived here all of my life. I've only been here for four years as opposed to a lot of people who have been here their whole lives, but I really want the scholarship. To apply, you have to writ an essay. Both my dog's eyes have become really goopy and icky within the past 2 days. I am always wiping her eyes with a warm cloth. Her left eye is bloodshot looking. The goopy stuff is bright green. I dont know if this has anything to do with it. I am taking her to the vet in a week. Can someone tell me what this might be? Should I take her in sooner?
