is it true that there is radiation in watching TV.? if so, what is the safe distance..?

There is no radiation from a TV strong enough to cause harm so give up worrying ! Well I worked on TV for 45 years and a proportion of that time I would have had my head inside the TV . I am still ok or so people tell me !!!! Cheers Pete

I heard that radiation comes out of the front of the TV, goes right through your eyes, and hits your retinas!
