Who else has heard the superstition? "If you change the name but not the letter, you marry for worse and not for better."

My maiden name began with a T and my married name begins with a B. I'm getting ready to divorce but if I were to remarry, would I want to avoid someone with the last name that starts with a T or a B?
Thanks!

I can't believe no one else has heard this. I found this in an old book of my grandmother's and I found it to be interesting. :)

I have never heard of that superstition before, but all superstitions are meant to scare you. Ignore then...bad things only happen because you will them to happen.

Never heard of this. But I would have to say, not true! My 2nd husband's last name started with a W. My current husband's last name starts with a W & we get along just great!

Don't pick your partner by the first letter of the last name! That's just nuts......that's why they are superstitions! You changed letters the first time and it didn't work either.....just find the right person for you and don't worry about such things!
