The company I work for hired me as an Independent Contractor. At the time, I didn't really know what that meant, but have since discovered that we were wrongly classified and are truly employees of the company. Now I am going to be liable for a self-employment taxes and other taxes that my employer would have been responsible for. What can I do now to fix this situation?

she was fine (I weaned her onto it). So is that particular field safe for her then? She was out last year on it and did good.. got a little fat, but not horridly so. So this year I was going to put her on the same field again. Is that field safe for her if she did fine on it last summer?

I ran into an article that said that 70% of women who knew they were going to have a certain gender (not just want a boy or girl) had the gender they knew they were having. I was wondering how many of you knew the gender of your child before finding out. I was just wondering because I want a girl desperately, but I know it's going to be a boy. I would love to travel with native guides in various countries. My thought would be to provide travel expenses and gratuity to a university student, in exchange for a month of travel, so that I would be able to have an "inside" view and experience of a culture as well as provide travel for the student who might have not yet fully explored their own country. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not saying they have to be drop dead gorgeous, but don't you need to have some attraction if you want to marry, have sex, and totally love someone.

Personally, I wish I could love someone JUST for whats on the inside, but I look at totally unnattractive people, and I can't see myself with them.

And it sucks, cause I'm fat, and no matter how hard I try and convince myself, I know that I can't even like someone else who's heavy, how could someone like me?

My older mobile home has a hard wired smoke detector that needs replacing. I've lived in the home for 6 years now & I don't have a clue as to when it was installed. Will I be able to find another hardwired model? Is it better to switch to battery operated? If I find a hardwired model, should I do this change myself or let a handyman with electrical experience install a hardwired detector?

in may of 05. I was in phoenix az when i first seen these lights. About 3am i was alone sitting on the patio. looking at the sky seeing shooting stars.
Now my ideas about aliens have left me being called gullible so ill say im very open minded. just remember 'too much skepticism only retards progress'
these lights i seen were slightly dimmer than the stars, same size, but moving. the caught my eye at first and all most scared me because i was staring when the stars began to move. there were three lights in a triangle shape moving across the sky to disappear in the horizon.
Then in July 2005 in Loveland co i was telling that same story to my sis and her friends under the stars. about an hour later i looked straight up at the same three lights moving at the same speed. This time i have three witnesses These lights are individuals because they broke apart to chase each other in a perfect circle so fast, they looked like a solid ring, to fly apart in dif directions(I have more details)
