The timing of your second sighting (as you happened to be talking about it with two friends) cannot be a coincidence.
A skeptical psychiatrist would need proof that your two other witnesses are real and not imaginary; that they and the lights you saw are not delusions such as those experienced by the main character of the movie "A Beautiful Mind."
I myself am in no position to call you delusional, after what I've been through (or percieved myself to have gone through).
My point of view is that aliens are quite real, and unfortunately quite evil. What you describe is a typical attempt by them to incite curiosity in a particular person. That is how they choose to interact with humanity, as opposed to landing on the Great Lawn of Central Park in the light of day.
Some argue that if aliens were real and if they were evil, they would have already used their power to destroy us. But that argument precludes the idea that the aliens are restricted from doing simply whatever they please. They are restricted by a force more powerful than themselves which is not evil. The situation is likenable to a large corporate entity which is wealthy enough to hire its own army to invade and take over a small nation, but would be prevented by perhaps the United States or perhaps another less-evil or non-evil world power.
How I came to know this is a long story, and I'm working on a fictional novel which will in effect illustrate the things that I have learned. The aliens have expressed their displeasure in a variety of ways to myself and those close to me, but they are prevented from stopping me, or destroying any humans outright.
The only contact you should attempt to make with otherworldly beings should be to the God of Judeo-Christianity. The Christians are right. There are within the religion individuals who fail their God, but it is never the other way around.

The so-called "Phoenix Lights" were parachute flares deployed by an airplane over the Goldwater Range near Phoenix. The flares are used by the military to light up a battlefield or ground targets at night. This happened again just a few weeks ago and was all over the news (along with the REAL explanation of what they were)...I'm REALLY surprised you didn't hear about it.
Of course, you are completely free to believe whatever kooky UFO nonsense that you choose to believe. That does not change the fact that there is a very real human explanation for them.

Hi j,
I know exactly what your talking about. My friends and I regularly see these lights here in Australia. They are exactly as you describe; same shape as the stars and they speed away, sometimes zig zagging across the sky. Sometimes they speed away, disappear, then reappear in another space few seconds later.
We find comfort in the knowldege that other beings do exist and they have discovered an awesome technology for space travel. If only humans can stop being so petty about mundane things, we too can build space crafts like these to travel.

It's impossible;e to answer your question not having been there. You could have seen anything including fireflies mating. Think about it.Why would aliens travel all the way across space just to do wheelies in the night sky? Why not land in Yankee stadium during broad daylight during a game or in a walmart parking lot the day after Thanksgiving?

I, like you, have opinions about extra terrestrial life that most people do not agree with and understand where you're coming from. Anyways, if you feel without a doubt that this could have been a genuine sighting, which it kida sounds like it is, you can report it at the National UFO Reporting Center. Follow this link >> http://www.nuforc.org/ and use the form there. Well you take cares friend and always look to the stars.

I am not doubting your facts or the reality of what you saw - but in waves on energy from wind to electricity in the air electrons can give of photons and these particle of light are controlled by the forces of energy being acted on. So things like balls of lightning and mirages, visible distortion in line of sight and a host of other things giving off photons and create special effects like the northern lights

Dudes, dudes, dudes... "UFO" is just the accronym for "Unidentified Flying Object". It does NOT mean, and was never intended to mean 'Extraterrestrial Alien Spacecraft' [EAS].
OK, it's very likely that all EASs are/will be UFOs. But all UFOs are very likely not EASs... unless the Earth is flat, the Sun orbits the Earth, and Mickey Mouse has a PhD in religious studies.

Every year, World Governments receive approx. 1000 reports of UFOs from reliable military and airline pilots. They are all still in the denial mode. They all have given themselves the right to lie to their people. How much longer they can keep it up remains to be seen.

I'm sure there are other life forms out there somewhere. In a universe this size there must be, but they are far too far away to be visiting us. Any unexplained lights are likely to be experimental technology.

If man actually thinks he has the only life planet in this universe, he is only being vein. There are so many witnesses to UFOs. If they do not exist, I cannot believe we do (but here we are). Even if you believe in God, there is reason to believe that he has made other worlds (with no man in his image on it). God, Himself, says that there are other gods and to not worship them. These are the alien gods or gods of things other than creation itself.
