reincarnation could be a secondary act of mercy rather than getting sent to hell.
if life is judged by the Balance of Good and evil those that dont achieve enough GOOD but are still within boundaries of the lower ends of having some good, may not be evil enough to send to hell when they die. So its just as easy to send them back and start over. Of course, there is Karma and a necessity to correct the imbalance of evil.
But it is written in the bible: it is appointed unto man ONCE to die. many christians take this to mean that reincarnation is not an acceptable true belief. But thousands of people have testimonies of being reincarnated. children speak of things they cannot possibly know, holds the strongest source of credibillity for it being true. on the other hand being appointed to die once doesnt mean Someone can be appointed, if they choose, to die a second time.

This "theory" no doubt originates from jewish lore about the demon of the wilderness, Azazel, who purportedly could enter into and out of humans by mere touch. Also, it is a belief held by Hindu religious sects in India which believe that the deceased actually return to this realm in the form of a cow, insect, or other lower life form. All those starving people and thousands of pounds of beef roaming the streets at will. Asfor the question at hand, when you die your spirit is dormaint until called forth for judgement as Christ so plainly stated when He said that "the time is coming when those who are in the grave shall hear the voice of the Son of God and shall come forth for judgement." As for reicarnation, alot of people have experienced too many bouts of deja-vu and have self-deluded themselves with the belief that "I've been here in another life." No- it's simply a matter of visual perception getting ahead of itself in the over-firing neorons of the occipital lobe of the brain reprocessing an image too fast in repeated sequence for the autonomic nervous system to interpret as a single image in the occipital lobe-the part of the brain that is responsible for visual processes. Besides, it is written in the Book of Hebrews that "man is appointed to die once and after this the Judgement." So much for reincarnation.

The soul enters the body while it is still a fetus in the mother's womb. The spirit can enter/exit willingly and randomly, up until birth...when the spirit enters the body for the last time...
