I'm not saying they have to be drop dead gorgeous, but don't you need to have some attraction if you want to marry, have sex, and totally love someone.

Personally, I wish I could love someone JUST for whats on the inside, but I look at totally unnattractive people, and I can't see myself with them.

And it sucks, cause I'm fat, and no matter how hard I try and convince myself, I know that I can't even like someone else who's heavy, how could someone like me?

I am not gonna lie to you there isnt a person alive who wants to hook up w/ someone that they do not find attractive, but what each person finds attractive is as different as each person. The woman i am with now the most beautiful thing about her physicaly is not her body, though i do like that too, but it is her smile and eyes. The first thing i see everytime i look at her is her beautiful blue eyes. And to be honest she is a little thick.
But the physical attraction is just the start of everything, not the finish. When you love someone they look beautiful to you even if to noone else. As to you not being attracted to someone that is heavy prolly has to do more with you lack of self worth then of wether they are attractive.

I realy believe that someone can love someone based on nothing but their personality. I think that once you fall in love with their personality that you will start to find things about them physicaly attractive. I think that physical attraction is a bonus. I found my guy on personality. Then I just fell so in love with him that I could care less on what he looked like. Its strange to say but some of the most unattractive people are some of the nicest people you will ever meet in you life. Never single your self out. Everyone should have a chance.

You have issues. Of course attraction influences the mind, but if you will never date someone like yourself, then you have issues. One thing you should never do, sweetie, is degrade yourself. There's someone out there for everyone.

Yes, physical attraction does play a major role. Physical attraction was what make you fall for the person from the first place.

well, my boy friends not the hottest guy around. but wenever i see him i always say "hi beautiful" becasue to me he is the most beautiful person in my world. i love him so much, and people dont understand why, becasue many other girls i no always tell me that i could "have soemone better" or someone hotter r watever. but to me at least, that doesnt matter. it really shouldnt to anyone, but it does effect how some people chose their dates. life sucks like that.
just remeber, dont go and change the way you look just because someone tells you to or wants you to

First, Looks are not everything but they are something. so how do you expect to spend the rest of your life with someone that you don't like the way they look?
Second, You have to love yourself before other people can love you. good luck :)

If you are going to be with somebody, the way I have it figured, you are going to have sex eventually. If you aren't attracted in that way, that's going to lead to a mighty awkward situation.
