Wow Ashley no need to be so mean to her! You wont even post your own pic, so back off of her jeez.
Now on to your question.... running and crunches will get rid of the belly area. I used to have a big tummy and I watch my foods, ran err.. jogged and did crunches and Im doing better everyday. Its hard work trust me

Big tummies are pretty, too. You need to start looking at how attractive plus models & their tummies are, too, & be thankful you look better than alot of people. You pic is pretty. :)
I'm not shallow or embarrassed to say I'm not perfect. My tummy looks good with clothes on but it now has stretch marks, so I bet your bigger tummy w/o those marks looks better than mine. Unless you wanna go flaunting yourself on the beach in a bikini (even a big tummy is still pretty), you have nothing to worry about. My hubby has always had stretch marks on the sides and around his waist in the back (they get lighter & smaller with time if they don't keep getting stretched back out) & not toned like a guy I had dated that had muscular tummy & chest. I preferred his softer, bigger & taller physique :)

Hi, I have a big tummy too...(ignore the girl above she is being very mean). all my weight goes straight to my tummy but I have no idea how to shift it. I did recently read in cosmo that crunches and sit ups are not the answer, that running is good for shifting the weight.

go the gym, alternate between cardio days(even 20 minutes a day of moderate recumbent cycling) and weight lifting days and take weekends off. Also watch what you eat, it's all pretty basic stuff. If you're serious about getting what you want, it's like anything else in life, and you'll have to work for it.
Avoid diets and diet pills.

I am a big girl myself and I have tried doing pilates... I bought MTV Pilates at Walmart...and I found it actually worked. It doesn't take a lot of time or space to do it and you don't have to do it every day if you don't want. It helps with other areas too, not just your tummy.
Good luck
