kinda sorta happened to me.....but i realized the guy who seemed so perfect for me was actually just...really representing things i was missing with my guy

so i had a heart to heart with my guy about what was bothering me--without mentioning i'd met someone cause i didn't think it was necessary, i never cheated--and we worked stuff out. now when i see the other guy, i'm glad i didn't leave my boyfriend for him at the time

I love my hubby very much but quite often I wonder if I settled for second best and was too chicken to go for the best. Quite often I wonder what would have happened if I dated ____ instead of ____ or if I had chosen to end things with ____ before ___happened. We will never know the results of the choices we make so we can only guess that they would have been better especially in the areas of our life that are so miserable. My hubby is a big kid at heart so I find that endlessly irritating and wonder if I had hooked up with someone else if maybe things would be different. Of course in the end I always come to my senses and realize that even as a kid at heart, I will love him always.

Yes. However after giving deep thought and consideration I decided to love the one I'm with. He is wonderful.

I met my husbands best friend two weeks after we got married, and my first thought was 'where the heck have YOU been the last two years?'
I was married for 27 years and he always remained our best friend. I have been divorced for 2 years now, but I still keep in touch with his friend.

Yes I do think that sometimes-but I realize that my life could not be as good as it is if I had gotten to be with my "match" but we remain friends so life is good!
