Please help me find out the mistakes and all. Also, you can say what you think about it.

No moist cloud covers an ever scorching sun
naked with fury it burns Saharan sands
hot and harsh winds blow intense and stun
who seeks water in midst of desert lands

The traveller finds desert unforgiving
he scours for pure waters many crave
in blistering winds that left none living
lost, he searches about his own grave

Into his open face dirty breezes throw
gasps heated by smokey fuming air
each breath carries many a debris flow
as currents his lungs can never bear

Gathering gales rain sand from the skies
dust showers pile many upon it unseen
Beneath dry barren layer the only life lies
he roams above unknowing and unkeen

For the tiniest drop thereforth he wanders
nothing to drink but dense clouds of dust
then occurs a mirage which halts meanders
he runs and it's blown away by a sudden gust

Much waves of the most waterless things
strike and vanish upon the falling sands
parched throat speaks no tongue nor sings
sunburns wither his tired legs and hands

Thirst forbids his further hopeless travels
with the frantic airborne sands flies time
quickens when wished slow, he unravels
urged on, it slows down into a snail in slime

His minds are whirled as he drowsily breathes
beaten, he sheds ashes upon the ground
rock crumbling he circles in endless wreathes
He is lost in the haziness of a grim mound

The flying sands hovered and passed
from nowhere a pristine rainforest appears
an Eden paradise by which he walks past
toward the desert's midst he disappears

I interviewed for an internal position in our HR dept and the narrowed it down to the top (3) candidates, including myself. I did not get the position. I interviewed with 5 persons,all of whom I would have been working with directly. The interviews wnet very well. When the Head of HR called to tell me the news he was seemingly very apologetic and advised that we all were very qualified. What could I have done to have been seen as more adequate for the position? Does anyone have any suggestions?

The papers say that my ex gets to claim my son every other year on taxes and this was his year and he's already filed but he's never paid child support. Is it legal to claim him as a dependent when he's not even supporting him? My son lives with me and goes to school here.

I was thinking about enlisting in the Navy. But no recruiter has come to my school. I was wondering….
Do you start out as an enlisted personnel, and then work your way up to an officer?
Or
Do you join the Navy and become an Ensign?

Do you have to go to a certain high school or academy?

I have never really understood how this works and I would really appreciate input from someone who has already gone through it.

People who see a demon being exorcised in the name of Jesus, believe firmly in their faith.

There are at least many cases like these, when people have overcome strange phenomenon based on their prayers or some other kind of spiritual oath.

Whats going on? How come God accepts their prayers if theyre all belonging to different faiths?

I just bought hybiscus plants at the end of september and put them in individual pots with miracle grow moisture soil... I know it's winter but they are inside in warmth with water and everything but they just haven't had any flowers. At what point are you considered on "active duty"? Is it the minute you enter boot camp?, or is it once you get stationed on a base, or a combat zone? I'm going to join the military by next year and I'd like to know if ill be considered "active duty".

I've got a couple of odd ingredients in my cupboard that I haven't used yet, like: chestnut puree, Pimentos in olive oil, fish sauce ( i do use this for Thai curry), Tamarind paste, sun dried toms ( I use in spag bol)and a fine wine vinegar. In my freezer I've got Fillet and rump steak and chicken breasts I can use. Any ideas? Thanks.
