You have to realize that your fiance' loves you, but isn't going to be your babysitter either. You need to find friends and do some things you like to do while he's at work. Are you thinking about BEING married or GETTING married? They are totally different things. When I got married I thought it would be a fairy tale. The wedding was perfect, then two seconds later hunting season came in and my husband went on a two week trip leaving me at home by myself. Instead of going out with friends or doing something I enjoyed doing, I sat at home extremely mad that he went away without me. I had dreamed of spending every night with my new husband. I was not very happy. My inability to spend time by myself caused friction in our marriage for a long time, but I finally realized that he does love me and we really do need time apart sometimes. In the long run it has made our 8 year marriage very strong. Now I look forward to his hunting trips just like he does. He sleeps outside in a tent for four days and I spend four days with my sister and friends getting manicures and shopping. Starting a marriage is hard, but you should just let him know that when he has time to spend with you it needs to be quality time. And you need to realize that he isn't always going to be able to spend that time with you, so cherish it, and maybe get a dog or something!

That doesn't matter unless he is concentrating more on some other girl... LOL
Some peopel are born workaholics. that doesn't imply that they don't love their spouses. You gotta support him with his career, so that he can rely upon you regarding all his career aspects. This would help in building up a healthy relationship. I'm a workaholic too and could barely find time to talk to her before marraige. But ever since I got married to her, things have changed a lot. My priorities have changed. And now, she's the most important part of my life...

An unpleasant fact: some people are workaholics. These people will give up everything for their job, because they are compulsive, really compulsive. If he doesn't have time for you during the emotionally intense period of courtship, he probably will have even less time once you are married. I wouldn't marry this guy if I were you. Find someone more affectionate.

Life is more about understanding, love and affection . Between partners understanding is more important than anything else. Your partners is correct in spending valuable time on his carrier.
You too believe that he is not neglecting you, so help him in his carrier as far as you can it will benefit both of you.

I think you need to get involved with an education and that will take up some of the time you use to worry about your fiance. Who knows you might meet someone who likes to spend time with you.

hmmm....
i suggest, if he has temporary problems with his professional life then there is no need to worry as he can concentrate on you after marriage or when his important work is over.
if his job is going to like it forever, then it is much wiser to go for a boy who loves you much than his job!
One famous Quote goes like this" It is advisable for a girl to marry a boy who loves her rather marrying a boy whom she love"
hop you get the answer of you question.
