I liked British Bulldogs and Releavers - hated Red Rovers someone always tried to break your arm

We would tie our coats around our necks so they dangled across our backs like capes and act like we were superheroes...Batman-Superman. Crazy huh?

Remember Hop Scotch? I liked Kick Ball the best and dodge ball. But if we are talking wee wee I remember London Bridge, Tag, Cops & Robbers, Hide and go seek and of course Red Rover! I haven't thought about that game in years! Thanks for the memories! I asked my 5 yr old did he know Red Rover and he didn't know what I was talking about! LoL! Guess they don't play that one anymore. But you are right about the arm thing. Hmmm.... Maybe that's why they don't play that one anymore! LMAO! It sure was fun though.

We played tag and red rover! One time playin red rover we DID break somebodys arm... wasn't bad thoguh, he was a really resilent kid and didn't let it bother him... plus, he got to play with a hard cast the next week so nobody would run at him! lol

I always played Spider on the four squares, and Handball.
i also played tag in the jungle gym. i was a big swing conoisseur too.
eventually i learned to play the card game "Magic" and that's all i did for the next 5 years.

The playground transformed with our imagination. The sand was an ocean or outer space, and the jungle gym was a spaceship or a pirate ship. : )

We did not go to the playground for *lunchtime* we went to the mess hall and ate our food!
When recess came around, then and ONLY then was it time for playing. I liked to play on the swingset and keep to myself.

Truth or Dare, Doctor, racing, spy, one time we did a whole operation with walkie talkies and everything so one of us could crawl under one of the school buildings to find out what was under there

hide and go seek,freeze tag,and uh yeah red rover and I was usually the one trying to break an arm.Never did though
