I started my highschool two years later than other people after transferring from a school where I was bullied. I had this inferior feeling for too long from other people. There was this group of girls that I thought was really cool- smart, funny, fun, popular(I didn't know that at the time though!) and cool. I tried talking to a few of them occassionally. They added me to their myspace, and after talking to them for a while, I heard them bitching about me as I walked out of assembily, and talking about what a loser I am.

Everyone loves them! I haven't talked to them since, and have closed my myspace so I wouldn't make a fool of myself again.

The problem is, they keep sending friends over to talk to me. I know they think I'm stupid, but I don't think theres anything I can or should do.

They happen to be in two of my classes, and they won't stop staring at me. I feel too embarrassed to talk or ask questions in class because I know they'll ***** about me later.

Ok, I don't just watch TV - I read, play guitar, watch movies...but what else is there? I feel like I don't have a life now that I work full time - especially with the crappy weather where I live - and I'm too tired to have a snow ball fight and pursue the active social life I once had. Maybe someone has some good ideas for me?

The Bible was incorrectly translated from Hebrew to Greek. The word 'young woman' was changed to 'vigin' (as in the prophesy of the virgin birth in the OT):

From the mainstream British newspaper The Telegraph (link below):
"The doctrine of the miraculous conception and birth of a God-man was based on a remarkable mistranslation into Greek - wilful or otherwise - of Isaiah's original, quite specific Hebrew words."

From Translators Journal, a publication for professional translators (link below): "The Old Testament talks about almah 'young woman,' not bethulah 'virgin.' However, the scholars in the 3rd century BC translated the Hebrew almah as parthenos in Greek."

I just microwaved 3 taquitos and dropped them on the floor. I picked them up in about 4 seconds, maybe 5 tops. Should I eat them and risk getting a bad case of the squirts or should I make something else? I am out of taquitos (since I'm not Mexican and all) and really don't want to make anything else. It's been about 5 days since my floor was vaccumed and I have a dog that drools alot. If I eat them I am likely to be blowin mud within 5 hours (which I will be asleep by then and run the risk of poop'n the bed), but if I don't eat them I will be too lazy to make something else (then I starve for the night). Lay it on me folks, what do I do here?

Well I know that it is to make fun of the idea it being Pink and invisible at the same time but.....

Isn't ultraviolet light is invisible and violet at the same time?

I'm not very computer literate! I lent my laptop to my 14 year old cousin, and apparently he was looking up porn on it. (Boys!) Anyway, when he returned it, I kept getting these alerts saying that my system was at risk due to spyware... But when I clicked on it for info all it did was take me to a website for "SpyDawn". It just didn't seem legit... so I went offline, ran a full system scan with Norton, and everything turned up clean. I then went into the control panel and deleted two programs that had been installed while my cousin had the computer. One of these was a "System Alert Popup" that was very difficult to get rid of - the computer crashed every time I tried to remove it. Once I succeeded, the SpyDawn popup stopped showing. I thought I was done, but just two minutes ago, another random alert popped up on my computer (something about a Trojan), and when I clicked on it, it took me to another iffy website - "Pestcapture". What do I do?

My Kenwood Home Stereo finaly bit the dust after 10 years of hard use. I have been to all the mainstream stores and i cant find what i want. It seems all the big companies including Kenwood are foused on the satilliet multie-channel systems. Best Buy, Circut City and Sears dont have anything that im looking for and the audio shops that do are selling high end equipment that is out of my price rang. Can anybody direct me to a good Home Stereo System (not from Wal-Mart) somewere in the $500-$1500 rang and in the 500-2000 watt rang.
